Does anyone else calorie count

Ok I am turning over a new leaf! I will:
1 follow sw 100%
2 keep using my fitness pal for my food diary but stop looking at the calories
3 stop thinking about food constantly - hopefully my hypnotherapy next week will help draw a line under that : )
keep up the body magic (3 times a week at the gym and walking everywhere)

I just have to stop trying to make this happen fast, and settle into new long term eating habits which I know I can manage with sw. I have to face facts, it takes ages to lose 3stone and I will only torture myself if I spend all my time thinking about how to lose 3stone!

I am in the same boat as u for some stupid reason I started calorie counting which has resulted in continual binges and gains. Think it made me obsessed with food and that's all I could think about and if I had a low cal day would use that as an excuse to have chocolate which would start the binges.
My plan is to have weekend off plan and get my mind back in gear and fresh start from Monday following sw only no more calorie counting.

Ok this is the last time I torture myself but seriously can someone look over whether I'm doing this right? Had a perfect sw day but a disaster in terms of calories (even allowing for the fact that I went to the gym).
Breakfast
2egg omelette with mushrooms, tomato
45g Jordan's muesli (poured out too much!) hexb plus 1.5 syns
375ml skimmed milk hexa
Banana
Lunch
Chicken& mushroom Pasta n sauce
Salad leaves, tomato and cucumber
Waitrose pea and mint salad 5 syns
Blueberries
Dinner
Sw recipe pastitso (big portion) 2 syns
Spinach
Super speed soup
Muller light
Snacks
Weight watchers yoghurt
2 bananas
Grapes
Really embarrassing - a whole batch of sw oat blueberry muffins 5 syns
2600 calories!

So again, if sw is based on reducing your calorie intake then I'm in trouble aren't I?!

I think you need to stop torturing yourself and follow the sw plan if that is the eating plan you are following and that doesn't require calorie counting

Stop torturing yourself! Give it a week of not counting ANY calories, but being 100% on the SW plan. The proof will come when you weigh in!

I do calorie count and follow sw, but I don't allow it to restrict myself. I just don't lose weight if I over eat. Sw says eat until you are satisfied and for me calorie counting gives me that little bit of extra control, my sw days normally work out around 1300 ish. I guess everyone is different, it works better for me like this : )
