Does exercise make a difference?

Im thinking of taking up some more exercise, I currently walk 5-6 miles a day with work. Do people find this makes a difference with regards to their weight loss or do they just tone up more?

Any opinions or advice would be great! x
 
I find doing regular exercise improves the amount of weight I lose each week, but it looks as if you are already doing quite a bit with your daily walking.
