When you eat nearly all of your massive roast someone does for you, and as much as it was gorgeous i cant just eat a small amount of a yummy roast, Haven't had one for ages so i guess I'm allowed

I'm terrible with my roast every Sunday! I eat my large plateful and anyone elses leftovers an dpick at any leftover meat! Good job hubby cooks it sw friendly!

im known for that too i eat leftover pots and meat a few hours after dinner and i eat all of my roast, i dont like to waste good yummy food! Lol

For the first time in weeks I've not done the whole sun roast thing where I go MAD!
Haven't made my own lush syn laden gravy and just had good old measured bisto instead, everything else syn free! Shame about the wine, but then again looking at previous weeks I must be wayyyyy over syns with it all! Tut tut!

DYJHIW you had the worst day yesterday!!! Father in law had 2 cardiac arrests in the morning. Hes ok but tests show no reason why..Waiting to see the specialist today..
then when we finally get home, our Husky escaped out the garden when we let them out and he attacked someones dog and killed 6 chickens Im in absolute bits but we need to rehome him. :cry: im in tears now even thinking of him leaving, he was our first dog before we got married, helped me through 2 tours of Afghan, and will be coming on nearly 6 years now.. How can i let my boy go??????
(its not the first incident hes attacked 4 dogs now, tried to attack some horses and now these chickens. I dont know what went wrong, our lab was bought the month after, brought up together, same training yet out Lab is perfect! :/)

Hes like snarled at Jacob my son once when he went to play with him which i was so scared. Hes never done anything bad that way to us but im scared of what could happen next. We thought we'd need to have him put down but after speaking to the vets they said thats not needed, But now looking at rehoming and im scared of what could happen next. An just of 'when' he'l get out again.
I cannot walk him & Toby(our Lab) hes way to strong. We do have a XL garden to run in but its not fair. Im so upset, not stopped crying all day. I hate been so emotional, But hes part of the family. I dont understand how others get dog after dog with getting rid & getting another etc!

Awwwwwwwww how awful, what a terrible time you're having. I'm sure your father in law will get the treatment he needs & I'm sure they'll soon find out the cause.
As for your dog, I'd be so upset, they really become one of the family. Maybe he just doesn't like living with another dog & will be much better on his own. We had two cats & Phoebe was always really funny, she'd run away when you wanted to stroke her, she just sit near you & just basically be on her own. Then Mike got run over & it was like we had a new cat, Phoebe now meows for strokes, sleeps in our bedroom (ok I'm a little softie) & just loves attention.

As for Max. He is very much boss of Toby, which i feel bad for at times as hes seem depressed recently. I know its because of our Husky which is sad
But as my mother in law has been saying its for the best for alot of reasons. Just SO hard acepting the fact we NEED to do this. Almost 6yrs hes been our 'baby' before we had our son, when i moved to our army home (as didnt know anyone so he helped along with our lab too) But they really are family aint they! I think its upsetting of im scared to where/who he'l go to. Im been 100% honest about his behavioral problems but is a smashing dog. Life sucks on these decisions that need to be made! Wish i was a kid again lol

Maybe the dogs jealous because the attention is on your son? I don't trust dogs all these stories you hear scares me i would never have a dog and a baby
And I've missed most of coronation st, then he rings from work waffling about tents! I just caught the last few minutes!

Work today & I'm really fed up with it at the mo, it's not holiday blues I'm just sick of putting in 100% when my boss just doesn't put in the work which means the bonus I could have earned isn't going to happen, I wanted my bonus as I've a few nice treats I'd like to buy. I love the financial services, but really thinking about looking for something else & getting out.
