due TOTM & +7lb?? surely thats wrong?

Good afternoon everyone.
thought id check in and ask this question.

not good news im afraid!

after the great feeling i had on wednesday weigh in i didnt weigh myself yesterday as i know im due to have TOTM this week end and i got really down about the weight not budging last month when i was due to have TOTM but this morning i thought 'oh well, might as well have a look' as its no big deal not losing much this week.
now im very confused and upset because i have gained 7lb! in just 2 days???
surely thats wrong?
iv been 100% but maybe not drank as much as usual? and have not been to the 'loo' for a couple of days but feel ok in that department.
how can i have gained half a stone?
can i realistically manage to get it off again by wednesday and has anyone else reading this ever ratained that much before having TOTM?
im not even due on until sunday :(

I am 3lb heavier today than yesterday as i got my TOTM, this is normal, weather we are on lipo or not we naturally put on weight, it will go again, its just bloating, keep going well xx

thanks curvey, i did expect to retain but 7lb gain is scary because it just shows how it takes a while to lose wight but it can be gained so fast :(

damn you mother nature ;ol

Don't panic it's purely water.....don't stand on the scales again until Monday and I'm sure that it'll have disappeared as if by magic......honestly.

I've learnt that my weight can fluctuate by several pounds from day to day, hell even hour by hour! But there's no need to worry, if you've stuck with the diet you WILL be losing fat and it WILL show up in the longer term. Whatever you do don't get disheartened and blow it, ok? X

Get off the scales and stay off them!!!!

Stick to weighing once a week, same time, same set of scales.

IGNORE IT; it's an aberration. If you've been 100% you can't possibly have put on that much weight in fat. As everyone else has said, it's water, TOTM, the fact that you haven't been to the loo, combination of all three, etc. Up the water and keep on going. It will disappear as mysteriously as it has arrived. Don't get disheartened by this and stay off the scales. Have a wonderful weekend. x

I have stayed off the scales so not got a clue if I have lost anything!
Upped my water and been to the loo ;D
Still not seen totm and feel bloated :/ living in my pjs as I'm worried I'll struggle to do my trousers up and that would make me want to get on the scales to see just how much I weigh now?
Fingers crossed for Wednesday weigh in I don't care if I haven't lost from last weigh in as long as I'm not more than I was last week ... Thanks again for the supportive messages. XxxX

I was told that a pint of water was one and a quarter pound in weight. If that's correct it doesn't take much water retention to show some weight gain - albeit a temporary one.

Try not to worry it'll soon be gone.
