I know there's a specific Lucy thread, but this is for EE as a whole :)

I'm glad it's on an upward trend at the minute, it's taken long enough and I even stopped watching for about 8 months as I just got SO bored. It's definitely improving now!

Really like the little surprises and twists right now too - like Honey and the kids appearing :)
 
Just finished watching and seen another! Blimey, they didn't let it out about David seemingly having a heart attack either!
 
Didn't see it last night. David is leaving it again. I think Shirley been micks mum is a bit mad, this storyline is happening in hollyoaks aswell.
 
Aye, I'm not sure if this is where he actually says goodbye (ie: dies) as it was only recently that it got announced. Having said that, they've retconned Carol and David into teenage soulmates so I dunno if he'd actually leave without her otherwise (and nothing has been mentioned of Lindsey leaving)
 
He was only going back for 6months then the cancer storyline came up so he stayed on. Maybe he does a runner with Nikki. Biancia is leaving aswell. Patsy palmer wants to try la again.
 
Aye, do wonder if the kids are going with her or if she'll be leaving them behind. Can't see how they'd get round them staying (unless she goes to prison again)
 
Well, after all that build up and soulmate retconning - is that really that? I understand she's in shock and fighting cancer from which she might die after he said that he'd wished he had - but if they can split like that on their wedding day, it's a good job they didn't go through with it! He was in shock too - he wouldn't have meant it! (TBH I'm surprised he said it on his wedding day but eh... it's soap!)
 
Was it me or after all that build up and retconning - did the Carol/David thing just seem to be a HUGE pointless storyline given the end of it?
 
TBH: no idea as I'm not 100% sure they know :p If it comes out about the person they're planning towards it'd get changed into someone else!
 
Is it me or is Max saying that he saw Jake and Lucy all a bit weird?! I know it's to throw in an element of 'OMG MAX DID IT!' but it's ridiculously soon for that to happen.

I really don't think he did see them.
 
Falling a little bit in love with Aleks. He was a proper sweetheart last night, he wasn't even going to mention the tan and shooed Lauren away, bless him!

It really did feel like it should of been after the watershed. I don't think it would of really made a difference to how awful it was to watch though :(
 
What do people think of the way the Linda/Mick/Dean story has been handled over Xmas? The lad who plays Dean is a good actor - I genuinely can't stand him (Dean)!!
 
Its a good storyline but i dont think the rape storyline is suited to Dean's character. He just doesnt look "rapey" i cant buy it
