    there is a section in the book about eating out syns (averages because they will vary) and the slimming world online has a brief guide too... it is always a bit tricky but the standard rules of thumbs apply, steamed over fried, sauceless over sauce, tomato based sauces over creamy ones.

    Sorry that probably hasn't helped much :sigh:

    It's a shame that SW doesn't have an eating out guide. I know they have a small section at the back of the food optimising book and syn register but it would be nice to have a whole book dedicated to eating out syns... Maybe it's in the woodworks?

    hoping so, im trying to weigh up ww over sw onlipotrim and im not happy i miss eating and now ive found this site i might get somewere

    theres a food directory where you can look up supermarket/branded foods. in the back of that there's an eating out section.

    the restaurants i tend to stick to are chinese, indian or italian. the Harvester is good aswell. i've eaten out at all of these and made wise choices and still lost on those weeks.
