Hi all,

Have done SW before but always gave up although i did lose a bit of weight. I am following the plan alternate days red and green and really loving it! I exercise regularly so hope to see a weight loss on the plan but i just can't believe that i will lose weight with the amount of food i am consuming!:p I haven't felt at all hungry and i actually had to try and fit in my HEs last night - such a change from CD (altho' never knock it as it got rid of over 3 stone for me!) Please assure me that i will lose weight - it's like a permanent feast;)

I am joining a class tonight to help with motivation so we shall see how it goes

Hi airgirl, i remember you from the CD pages:D. I've been faffing about on and off CD for about 6 months now and have decided enough is enough - can't do deprivation any more!! Hope it works out for you! At 140lbs below target weight you're a bit on the skinny side:D I take it you're ticker is wrong? You don't look as if you've a lot of weight to lose anyway!

Good luck

The SW plan works on the principle that the more you eat, the more you loose (but this only applies to the free foods!)Lol.
Its so much more than a diet and being another one from the CD forum, I know exactly where you are coming from with quantities etc...but believe me it does work!

Thanks Mrs V;). I did lose with it before (v slowly) with doing no exercise so i hope this time as i'm getting fitter that the weight will come off slightly quicker. Couldn't do the CD thing any more. It was just getting me down every time i failed to get back into and was too depressing. It was a fab way to lose the bulk of the weight quickly which was what i needed but i'm happy to try and lose the final stone at a more leisurely pace:p. Think i will start my own food diary to keep track of what i'm eating - looks better on the computer than with my scrawl.

Lol...keeping a diary will help you to get over this difficult stage in your life as well as providing an insight to others that are going through the same thing and think that they are alone.
Your pictures are fabulous by the way!!!
You will get through this...we are all here to help you! Besides which, I am sure in the future you will be prviding me with advice too!

Take care

I know what everyone means, I did CD, and now I'm eating, it seems loads. I even got in a panic last night when my scales said I hadnt lost anything (bear in mind, Id only been on SW for 24 hrs) but Im convinced thats the cambridge dieter in me.

Green days are my favourite, as you can get meat substitutes but there are no substitutes for pasta and potatoes! Carbs aren't bad, only the processed ones.

i felt like that too in my first week but I lost 2lb and last week another 1lb gone. Some people are losing much more a week but I am happy it is going still! And I feel full all the time- stops me wanting to snack.

I know, i really should change my ticker...but because i was also faffing on CD it was all over the place..but i'm gonna start again now with my sw journey.
How are you finding it? I'm still trying to adjust, am convinced i will lose nothing this week with what i have been eating!x

Jury's still out:cool:. Feeling a bit bloated today. Clothes feel just as tight, have done loads of exercise and worried this is not working as i think it's a great plan - but shall give it a good go for a couple of weeks anyway - as long as i don't gain:thinking2:

Let me know how you get on!!

I've eaten the majority of a chicken throughout the course of today  terrible lol, think I might have to have different meats on red days as my chicken capacity is obviously enormous yet weirdly I struggle with all other meats  x

I love chicken :eatdrink023:but absolutely adore salmon and it's great to be able to eat it freely on a red day - yumtastic!! I think i would lose weight easier on SW if i stuck to red days but i really prefer the green days!! I'm never happy!!;)
