Haven't heard anything about too many eggs. Not that I eat a lot but will be having them a lot this week because the farmer just handed some into work. :D

Hey guys!! Hope ur all good! Was just thinking iv been having a lot of omelettes this week n I remember reading some where ur only meant to have so many eggs a week....any1 no if this I right?? How many eggs is too many??
A few years ago 'they' (government health people) recommended no more than 5 eggs a week but then they changed their minds as eggs provide protein & good cholestrol. I don't thonk there is a recommended amount anymore.
I have around 10 eggs a week as they are a quick way of getting protein after a workout & they keep me feeling fuller for longer. :) xx

I remember being told years ago that you should only have 3 eggs a week. THREE! Then last year I saw a billboard up near work that said something about eating an egg a day was good for you etc etc. I see nothing wrong with eating eggs if you like em, good source of protein. And omelettes are scrummy (I sometimes make mine with just egg whites) ham & cheese is my favsie :)
