xXxXxXxXx Eid Mubarak xXxXxXxXx
Eid mubarak is a greeting that means 'blessed festival' and the response to the greeting is 'Khair Mubarak'.
The greeting is used on the festival of Eid. Eid is celebrated twice a year, the first on the sighting of the new moon to celebrate the end of Ramadan and is called Eid ul-Fitr. We also celebrate Eid ul-Adha which lasts a extra day or two and is celebrated for different reasons but i wont go into that right now. I will be happy to explian it to anyone who is interested though.
On Eid we celebrate by having lots and lots of food, getting dressed up, seeing family and friends, going to Eid parties, recieving and giving gifts and money, some youngens hire out limos, we go to the pictures, we go out for meals (usually on wimmy road, lol), so basically we celebrate with family and friends in our own ways
I need to get back to helping mum with the cooking so i hope everyone has a lovely day
