Replying to the appendix/IBS thread reminded me that I needed to ask a bit of advice myself! Some of you know I had my appendix removed 6 weeks ago. I went back to the hospital last week for a check up. It didn't go well, exactly 
First of all, the "disolveable" stitches rose to the surface of my bellybutton, and the doctor had to slice them off by slicing into me to get to them properly... ouch...
Then they told me that when they ran tests on my appendix after the operation they found endometriosis on it. They're referring me to a gynaecologist to see if it's anywhere else.
I've done some research on this, and apparently having endometriosis on my appendix is very rare. I just want to know if anyone else has had this, and if it's dangerous at all?
And what if it is in other places? Will I have to have another op?
