Exercising on weigh in day?

Hi All

I exercise approx 3/4 times per week and someone said to me a while ago dont exercise on your weigh in day as you will always weigh more when you do?? im now wondering if this is right or not? and so I thought I would ask you all on here! does anyone have any thoughts on this? and if some types of exercise wont make you heavier then can they let me know??

I think your muscles retain water when excersising which can make you weigh heavier ...
 
Ahh so thats probably the reason why they said not to exercise on weigh in day!! thats settled then I will keep to my normal work out thanks :)
