I'm new to EE and have just been reading on the bargains thread that some Mug Shots are free and others aren't. Please can someone tell me how I tell the difference between the free and the syned.

I'm afraid you can't tell the syns from the % fat, only the flavour

Tomato is 1% fat but 1 syn while roast chicken is 2% fat but syn free :(

My Consultant says the free ones are the ones where the 1% (or whatever) is in an black circle. Red and orange circles are synned. Something to do with some of them being bulked out with more flour.

I generally just check online anyway.

Its a common misconception, mine says the same, but its not right unfortunately. You can't tell syns from colour of writing or % fat, only from flavour and they are all listed online :)
