If you use chilli powder or fresh chilli instead of the harissa paste and omit the flour and oil then they'd be free. Def goin got try these. May need an egg to bind them.

Oh they do sound great , will try them when am off. used to love falafels, may treat myself to hummous unless anyone knows a syn free version.........??

Yes you can make your own free hummus:

Add a tin of chickpeas, a squirt of lemon juice, a couple of cloves of garlic, salt, pepper and mustard powder to a blender - give it a whizz and you should have a tasty free hummus
