Feeling awful

#1
:cry:Sorry to moan, but I feel so down and miserable. It is my 6th day and I feel exhausted, I have no enthusiasm for life and I just want the day to end. Nothing bad has happened I just feel that if this diet is making me feel so dreadful is it worth it. The road ahead seems so long and not even the thought of eventually getting into a bikini or my slinky dress cheers me up. I just want to go and buy a few beers and stuff my face with an Indian take-away.
I am not planning on doing that it is the thoughts that keep coming into my head. Guess I am just feeling sorry for myself (quite what-a-bout I have no idea)
Has anyone else gone/going through these emotions?
I hope tomorrow I will feel better and have more positive things to say.
Once again sorry for the moan.

Hiya - the first few days can be tough, and the end can seem so far away - but in reality, it will end up being a mere blink of an eye compared to how long you have maybe struggled with weight, ya know? It just takes patience and determination, and fully understanding this is just temporary.

You can do it. :) Give it time to start working. I did LL - complete abstinance - for 10 months. At the end, it felt like 10 minutes!! :D It really does go so so fast once it gets rolling.

Don;t be discouraged - chin up and a positive "I CAN DO THIS" attitude will see you through ANY slump you encounter.

You are worth the effort - have faith in it and you will reach your goal. :)

Thank you.
Do you think it is possible to have chilli withdrawl. The reason I ask is that I eat exceptionally hot food and have not had any for a week, cos fresh chillis were not on food list. Anyhow tonight I cooked my burger with some and now I feel loads better and my mood changed almost instantly. Does that seem mad?? Cos I had been craving indian curry for about 3 days now.
any how once again thanks for getting back to me. It is much appreciated.

I think it was probably pshycological withdrawal rather then physical. Chilis are an extremely intense flavour - also a chili lover myself - so if you were used to it, the week without probably seemed very bland in comparison.....therefore you had it on your mind alot? WHo knows. You got through it and thats what matters! :)

The key is to push through. Self-discipline. Your inner rebellious child is screaming. Who is boss, you or him?

I have to fight with mine, every day, even though I have finished my LL experience. It keeps going for the rest of your life, we must all, take control and recognise it as exacly that. Taking responsibility for our own actions is important.
Of course I still want to go stuff my face every once in a while when I feel low/stressed/lonely/whatever - but I don't - because at the end of the day, it won't do me any good and will make me feel even more sh*t.

So take the long view perspective as well... Tomorrow WILL be better!

Yes I am sure you are right. I just looked at your photos. OMG you don't look like you. It is so amazing.
My first weigh in is tomorrow. Am apprehensive incase it is not much. But so long as it is down then it's heading the right way.

Blonde logic my reply did not come out properly. I was wondering what the zone was.

The zone sounds like a great place to be.

Is back in the saddle!

Oh it is! I've restarted again yesterday and doing LLL this time and can't wait to slide in again now I've made the decision. No real hunger, no what to cook worries but still a meal to look forward to and knowing the scales are going down.

I am really proud of myself; last night was my husbands birthday, and my boys insisted that we make him his favorite desert, STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING with extra sauce and cream. All day I dreaded making this, thinking that I wouldn't be able to control myself. But guess what I did resist and didn't even want to smell it!!
Could this be the illusive zone?
