feeling really down

im sat here typing this with tears poring down my face:cry:. im on week 5 and i feel worse now than i did when i first started LT. I have got to a stage where i cant sleep at night and by the time i get up in the morning it feels like iv only had a couple of hours of sleep. I usually go to bed between 10.30 and 11pm and finally get to sleep about 2.30am. Im waking up with a head ache and no energy! I no the shakes are easier to make than cooking a meal but i cant be arsed making them. Sometimes i dont even feel like having my last shake of the day and have been to bed with out it on 2 occasions. I was so happy a couple of weeks ago and now i feel like i have lost a pound and found a penny (how ever that saying go's):cry: People have commented on me looking glum and i no they are saying its down to this diet, im not stupid.
Im not going to quit it!! i dont really no what i want from this post its pretty pointless but i just wanted to tell someone what i was feeling without people saying "come off the diet" i no you guys are not like that cos you are very supportive :) :sigh: sorry for moaning.

Aww hun sorry you are feeling so down. Any VLCD is a rollercoaster of emotions as so much of the diet is in our heads. Ride the wave and allow yourself to feel how you feel... the ups will return, promise!

It there any reason why you are feeling so down. I'm on my happy pills at the mo(anti depress) so I know all about feeling low. Has anyone said something or has anything changed?

You've been doing really amazingly, very inspiring to us newbies. Are you anywhere near totm. Cos it's made me hell this week and I've been all over the place.

Please stay strong, your not moaning. Try and relax, I find trying to keep in mind why I'm on this diet and what I'm trying to look like helps if my focus vanishes, and keep talking,:hug99::hug99::hug99::hug99::hug99:

Sorry to hear your feeling this way.. try to think about how much you've already acomplished.. your doing so so well. We all have down days, just try to keep positive and things will sort themselves out xx hope u start feeling better

It's understandable to get bad days on LT.
I was like a bear with a sore head, first thing this morning! :badmood:
Please, please, please make sure you have all your shakes. It's the only place that you get the ESSENTIAL nutrition we all need.
If you're low on, for example, Vitamin B, it can affect your nerves. :argh:
Try having a nice warm bath before bed. Put your comfy-wumfy pyjamas on and have your last shake as a hot chocolate with sweeteners in. It might help you to relax and drift off to sleep.
It's horrible when you feel out of sorts, but I think it'll pass and you'll feel more like your old self soon.
Never apologise for saying how you feel on here, it's what we're for!!
