Extra Easy Finding it hard

Hi guys any one have any tips for me, joined sw 3 weeks ago, lost 1 1/2 1st week, 1/2 2nd week and 1/2 this week, I've had food diary checked and leader says i'm doing nothing wrong and to keep trying. Finding it hard as it's not coming off, I know if it keeps coming of like this I will end up giving up Heeeelllpp!! :cry::cry:
 
First of all well done on your losses :)

Are you wearing the same clothes every weigh in? Sometimes I find this makes a difference.

A lady in my class had this problem on my first week, someone mentioned for her to increase her super free foods, she then lost more the following week.

Have you started exercise yet?

Stick with it! I started two weeks ago (second weigh in tomorrow...eek!). Four of us started in the same week - I lost the most, another lost 1 lb, one STS and another gained 1 lb. We all kept food diaries and all on track...it's just how it goes sometimes as your body adjusts to new eating habits.

You just need to remember that the weight 'is' coming off, even if it's only a little at a time...you are moving in the right direction :)

Just think, if you lose 1 lb some weeks, 0.5 lbs other weeks...it will mount up...and before you know it, you will have lost half a stone, then a stone...and you will have weeks when you will lose more. Just stick with it...you'll see!

You may find it helpful to keep a food diary on here too so that others can give you feedback and ideas on things you could cut back on to support your weight loss even more.

Don't give up...you're doing just fine :)
 
Thanks, but have done all that, same clothes every week, loads of super free foods and trying to do more exercise. Just not happening.

I have brought scan bran this week to see if that will help!!
 
well done and stick with it.. try the scan bran and see how you get on with it... some people find it really helps them and they have a fab loss... good luck:)
 
Everyone likes to see big losses when they're on plan but unfortunately it's just not always going to happen. I've been very fortunate in that I've been losing around 2lbs a week but last night only lost half a pound and was gutted!

You've said that the weight isn't coming off but you've lost every week. A small loss is better than a sts or a gain and as others have said, those half pounds soon add up!

When people lose masses amounts of weight on their first week it tends to be water anyway so at least you know that you're most likely losing actual fat!

Keep at it and don't be disheartened - I know that's easier said than done!
 
What Jaq said - those small losses soon add up. What happens if you quit the plan though? You don't lose anything - and you might even gain more weight! Keep reading and re-reading your book, just in case you haven't got the hang of it yet (it's easy to slip up in the early days when you're new to the plan).

You might like to post a food diary, or a sample day or two's food, so we can all have a look and let you know what we think.
