Attack First Day has gone quite well.

I wasnt sure I was going to like this diet or be able to stick to it - but so far so good.:)

Sunday dinner was easy - no chopping veg and spuds - just chuck the chicken in to roast - and bonus only one roasting tin to wash up!!

I loved the galette - it was huge and like a giant soft oatcake (which I love!) - was putting off making it all day as I didnt like the sound of it but was pleasantly surprised - made a cinnamon one and dunked fingers of it into a small bowl of Onken vanilla fat free yoghurt.

Tomorrow may be a different challenge going to work and not munching on my usual mountain of fruit all day - but I have ham, chicken, cottage cheese, a big bottle of water and some chewing gum - so hopefully I'll be ok.

Hi, glad you've had a good day. I'd check that vanilla yoghurt if I were you; I believe it contains sugar.

I'm glad it's gone well! Today is my 2nd day and I have felt like I want to eat carbs but so far have resisted. I've got exactly the same lunch as you for work :)

Today is my first day as well...

Tomorrow may be a different challenge going to work and not munching on my usual mountain of fruit all day...
I have the same problem... LOVE fruits, and especially in summer where we get so many more different kinds. Today is my very first day on the Attack Mode, so what did I do yesterday? A full day of fruits! Peaches, cherries, watermelon... So, today, I made Peach Jam, and Pineapple Jam, to use up the fruits I couldn't finish up yesterday, and they will be perfect when we can have fruit again, to add a bit to my yogurts for flavoring :) Of course, I made my jam Sugar Free. To cut out the guilt! Though, I must confess, and say, I did lick the back of the spoon, to make sure it tasted alright.

Anyways, I made soup with chunks of tofu, and cubed chicken breast, added a dash of vinegar, ginger, cayenne pepper, I was going for hot and sour soup flavor. Thickened the soup with some cornstarch, and dropped in two beat up eggs, for the egg drop effect. It filled three containers. I ate one for lunch, and will have two more meals or snacks. For dinner, I got chicken quarters, went ahead and fixed two, one for tonight, one for tomorrow. I think I did ok for the first day...

What do you think?

Oh, goodness, how rude of me... Hi everyone! I'm a newb to this site. Very excited about Dukan. And can't wait for the scale to move along... I can't figure out how to add a picture to the Avatar. It does not give me the option to upload a picture. Maybe I'm simply too new...

Well done. I am starting tomorrow and so have made things for lunch.
Cinnamon is a great idea, I must get some. I got some vanilla essence so am hoping that is allowed.

And I lost 1.1kg!!!!!! Woohoo....one happy (but very tired) lady today.

The one down side is that my chicken-mad cocker spaniel sits at my feet with big sad eyes whilst I am eating waiting to share!!.

May try making a soup as I am finding roast chicken a bit dry on its own.

Is this the same as cornflour?
I'm afraid it is not allowed on Attack and it is a limited tolerated item in Cruise.
