Hi all!

I am new here. I started taking Orlistat on Thursday, so on day 5 now and have sneakily weighed in and lost 3 1/4 lbs already. I am so pleased! No side effects either cos I have stuck to low fat very well.

So I just wanted to join you so I can get some encouragement on my journey.

I weighed 16 stone 4.5 lbs and am only 5'3 so that's pretty big. I am on multiple medications and have both physical and mental health problems so it's an uphill battle.

I have relied on food for comfort for so long that I held off posting here until I had got the first few days under my belt to make sure I'm really on track and doing this!

As you can see I actually joined years ago! It's taken me that long to get my head in the right place and I have had many many false starts. Usually if I can get the first few days over then I end up managing to lose.

This time it's for real!

Looking forward to getting to know you all and sharing our journeys.

Hi hon! Well done on getting off to such a good start and getting to grips with the low fat eating. Just thought I'd say hello, even though I'm not on Orlistat any more. I have to say, this isn't an active part of the forum nowadays. If you want a part of the forum that's active and supportive, have you tried the WeMITTS? :) xx
