First diet since mother forced me on weight watchers 13yrs ago! A diet chef virgin.

Hi!

Just thought i'd say a quick hello and ask for some much needed support! As the title may suggest this will be my first diet for 13 years (my mother scarred me by forcing me to go to weight watchers because she wanted a slim child :p - clearly no long held issues there) and so i dont really have a clue what i'm doing.

I have decided that Diet chef is for me and will be taking the plunge after the bank holiday and am really looking forward to it!

I started putting on weight with poly cystic overaries* - i have insulance resistance and went down hill from there really. I had surgery to try and correct the polycystic overies which has helped somewhat with some of the symptoms. My doctor's rubbish... so much so that i had to diagnose myself with PCOS and paid for a specialist to confirm my suspicions. Ha.**

My first goal will be to try and shed a stone - just to confirm to myself that i can  and then after that... well we shall just see! Actually, i say that, but i'd really like to get to a size 18 for my holiday in Thailand in October/November. I'm currently a size 24... what do you reckon the chances are?

Does anyone know how much i can hope to loose each week at all?

Who know's i may even start using my gym membership!***

Well.. that's enough from me - i'm sure before long i'll have a list of questions as long as my arm... but i cant think of anything more for now - but i would LOVE to hear from any and all of you. It's taken alot to come on here so please be nice

XXX

*Prolly ate a bit too much cake too.
** Not so much cake eating after all (but some).
*** I wouldnt hold out too much hope tho, i still havent been to the induction in over a year.

Hi pookey and welcome to the board. There is a Diet Chef forum on here, I'd go and find it and read up, then post your questions there. :wavey:
