Thanks Daisydoll, Info session was ok but was taken by counsellor's husband as she is ill.Had some qualms about this as it will be a locum, who wasn't there to meet us,who will be taking classes for the time being. This gent also informed us the group sessions would last only 90 minutes rather than the 2 hours. Is this a reasonable provision?Thankfully I have another info session in a nearby town to go to.I will probably make decision then, providing GP agrees that is! On the plus side the other people there today seemed pleasant and the group is likely to start in the next 2-3 weeks.Oh the dilemmas!

Hi Jan...:) (Another Jan here :))

Our groups were 90 minutes, and that was sufficient. :) But see how you get on with the other group. Sounds like this LLC has some bum luck at the moment - but you can then make a choice.

    Good luck!!

All the Foundation meetings are now 90 minutes and not 2 hours because you used to watch a DVD for 30 mins, which wasn't really very good anyway.

It's a shame you didn't get to see the LLC properly but unfortunately people do get ill and at least the LLC has a locum. My old LLC's locum was just as lovely as she was :)

All you can do is compare and make your decision when youu have been to the other info session :)

How exciting that you are about to start your own LL journey! I can't get over how absolutely fabulous this diet is, and you'll be forever thankful you've done it!

My session has been taken by locums a lot, but they are all lovely, so don't worry! They'll be trained and anyway, you get a lot out of the sessions some weeks, and others it will feel like you just had a general chat with the girls! I just stopped expecting to have a penny dropping moment every week and I've been getting along fine. Wouldn't let the fact that they are locums worry you!

    Best of luck to you!
