First session at the gym!

Had my first (free) session at the gym today. Did 6 mins on the recumbent bike, 10 mins on the X trainer (I love it) and 10 mins on the treadmill. Plus a few arm and leg resistance sets. I go back tomorrow to get my proper program.
Did a lot better than I thought I would, and I really enjoyed it.
My trainer was a bit unsure about exercise while on CD. But after chatting for a couple of minutes she said as long I know my own body, it would be okay.:) I had all the counter arguments ready so I could answer all her objections. It pays to be prepared.;)

Happily maintaining
I'm being careful with the cardio, and keeping the old heart rate low. My aim is to get fit & tone up rather than 'bulk' up. I'm used to quite a bit of exercise (speed walking 9 miles 3 -4 times a week) but I need to do something to work my upper body and the hard to tone bits.
And I dont have a problem with moving up the plans if I have to. I'd rather not, but if my body needs more fuel, so be it.:)
