Food Diary 2014! I Will Do This!

    Hi everyone! My food diary :) started group yesterday.

    Sunday 13th July

    Boiled egg
    Spaghetti hoops
    2 Whole meal toast (hexB) with 2tsp Clover light (2syns)

    More of a brunch lol

    Will post dinner later :)

    Oh dear me, i crashed yesterday! I had shephereds pie, not a SW one though but near as. Mother in law made it me :)

    But whilst waiting for that...yup, crisps and chocolate was just there calling my name! Can you believe it, the cheek ay!

    Marker is out...a line under that one :)

    Ah well, it happens to all of us sometimes, get it out of your system, enjoyed it?, now back to hard work . This is our new healthier way of eating, we are in it for the long run so we can let our hair down now and then... is productive for your metabolism and for your mental health!

    Monday 14th July 2014

    Food today as follows...

    Coffee with sweetener (8am)

    Breakfast

    Tea with sweetener
    Strawberries
    Grapes
    Kiwi fruit
    WW strawberry cheesecake dessert yoghurt.

    Lunch

    Chicken slices on whole meal bread (hexB)
    Lettuce
    Cucumber
    Banana
    Tea with sweetener.

    Dinner

    SW Chips (made in actifry)
    Baked beans.

    Dinner...not looking good, but was too tired to make anything! :)

    Snacks

    4 praline Cadbury fingers (1.5 syns each)
    Salt n vinegar oddities (5.5 syns)
    Wrigley extra gum (0.5 syn) had throughout the day..didn't have 5 though lol.

    Total syns - 12.

    HexA - 250ml semi skimmed milk for hot drinks. Didn't use all though :)
    HexB - 2 slices whole meal bread.

    Tuesday 15th July 2014 (yesterdays)

    Didn't have time to update my food yesterday..so here it is :)

    Coffee with sweetener (8am)

    Breakfast

    Strawberries
    Grapes
    Kiwi
    Banana
    WW apple and berry pie yoghurt
    Tea with sweetener

    Lunch

    2 Slices of wholemeal bread (hexB)
    3 tbspns morrisons chicken and bacon sandwich filler (2 syns per tbsp)
    Banana

    Dinner

    Bit of mix up as didn't know what to have etc

    SW chips with red onion (cooked in actifry)
    2 corn on a cobs
    Tiny bit of pasta
    Chicken cooks in bag piri piri, i think thats what its called. (not sure of syns but know i haven't gone over)
    Salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red onion)

    No snacks today

    HexA - 250ml semi skimmed milk used for hot drinks throught the day
    HexB - 2 slices wholemeal bread 400g

    Syns - used 6 for sandwich filler..not sure about piri piri chicken. Defo not gone over :)

    Do you think i had a lot of food for dinner? i'm worried i've eaten too much lol but wasn't really big amounts.

    I think it sound good, I tend to eat more when I get more than throughout the day, because enjoy having a proper dinner after work. As long as you felt comfortable after food it will be fine . I don't think the spices would have any syns in them...

    I'm also looking forward to the weighing on Saturday!!! That must be a good sign. I feel a lot better than last eek, definitely :D

    Here goes...

    Coffee wither sweetener (8am)

    Breakfast

    Strawberries
    Grapes
    Kiwi
    WW rhubarb and apple yoghurt

    Lunch

    2 slices whole meal bread 400g (hexB)
    2 tbsp chicken and bacon sandwich filler (2 syns per tbsp)
    Banana

    Dinner

    Maggi cooks in bag paprika chicken (4.5syns) that's for the whole of it...but I had portion.
    Morrisons tikka chicken slices
    Pasta
    Lettuce
    Cucumber
    Tomato
    Red onion

    Had loads of salad, but had a lot of chicken too, worry that my meal is big lol.

    No snacks..

    Syns..haven't gone over 15 so alls good.

    Jacket potato
    Chicken tikka slices
    Grapes

    Snacks

    Mcvities go ahead crispy slice (1 slice, 3 syns)

    HexA - 250ml semi skimmed milk for hot drinks
    HexB - 2 slices whole meal bread 400g

    Syns - 7

    I love jacket potatoes! Should have some next week. Have you tried doing your own sandwich fillers? If you like cheesy ones, put your cheese as healthy extra in a tub of cottage cheese or quark and you will have loads, you can add bits of bacon, or chicken, chives, loads of options... if you leave it over night the flavours really get infused in the quark. I tried it before and I really liked it :D, also it gives you a big amount so I only ended up having half throughout the day. I have not tried the chicken cooked in the bag with spices, is it tasty?

    Great idea! I might try making my own.

    The cook in the bag are lovely! And you can put veggies in too. I might just get the bags this time and add my own spices etc to it and veggies at least then I know its syn free which is good. Would be Great meal really all I'd have to do is add some potatoes with it. My mouths now watering! Aha.

    Can't believe i get weighed tomorrow. :D

    I weigh in at home as is the on-line slimming world. I'm thinking I may weigh in after my quick morning workout before going to work... still on those days of the month...but I hope to see at least a little weight off on the scales. I definitely feel less bloated
