Food diary of a chunky girl

And for Thursdays dinner I've prepared a tandoori marinade. It's a glorious colour & smells delicious. I can't wait!!!

Hello :)

Just thought I would let you know that I made the chicken liver paté from the recipe you gave me……..oh my goodness, I can’t get enough of it!!! It is absolutely gorgeous… it made tons too! I brought some to work with me for my lunch today! And I even stuffed it inside a pork roast for dinner last night, it was so incredibly good!! It’s so good that I’ve regularly questioned how good it actually can be, surely there has to be some naughtiness in there somewhere! Why do people bother making it with butter at all!!? :D thanks so so much, you’re a star. xx

Hi Kelly,

I'm really glad you like it. It's delicious isn't it?! I stopped eating it a couple of weeks ago because I became convinced it must be bad for me, how could something so yummy be ok! But I'm back on it now having stopped being silly.

That's a great idea with the pork, I'm definitely going to try that!

How are things with you? I'm going up & down like a yo yo at the moment! I was at 12.1.5 but through holidays & weekend away am up at 12.3.5 & suspect I'll have another gain this week but it could be worse. I'm planning to have a super good week next week to try & get back on track.

Xx

Well I have had a lovely day of bike riding, it was so much fun! Thanks Boris. This may now be my exercise of choice. I'm going to have a look later to find out about cycling for weight loss.

Sunday's food:
Breakfast - toast & pâté (I did this with pigs liver this time & it was no where near as nice)
Snack - yoghurt
Lunch (eaten out, that's why there are so many syns!)- prawns (s), sweet chilli sauce (1 syn), salad (s s), dressing (3 syns), garlic mayo (5 syns)
Snack - chai tea (3 syns)
Dinner - chicken tandoori (s), salad (s s), chilli dressing (1 syn), plum (s)

HEXA - milk
HEXB - toast
Syns - 13
Exercise - over an hour bike riding.

Well there were more Syns today than I was hoping. I should of asked for my salad without the dressing, I just forgot - rookie mistake! Still I hope my cycling made up for it!

I've been doing shred every other day, which is a good start although I do want to get it in every day.

I'm getting a freezer today which I think will really help my healthy eating. I'm going to make sure it's stocked with frozen fruit & veg, fish & low syn ready meals. Any ideas will be gratefully received!

Ok, it's been quite a while but I'm back and determined to loose a bit more weight!

I've put on a few pounds (well 5, but for 10 months with Christmas & Easter in-between it's not too bad) but I'm a stone lighter than the last time I started SW so have got a head start.

I had a read through my diary from the last time I did it & was stuck by the amount of days that started with "another rubbish day", and yet I still lost nearly a stone & a half! Also I'm in a better place emotionally so I am hoping I will find it easier.

Here goes, wish me luck!
