Food weight questions

Wonder if any of you could take a few minutes to answer these questions.
Now if I weigh out 100grams of uncooked pasta and then cook it , how much in weight would the cooked pasta now weight.

And the same for rice. If I cook 100grams of rice, how much would it weigh once I cooked it?

Depends on how much water you use and how long you cook it for. The longer you cook it and the softer you have it, the more it will weigh as its soaked up more water.

I always go by dry weights when cooking.
