For Kat: Low Fat Granola recipe

Low Fat Granola

2 C Oats
1/4 C Wheat Germ
1/4 C Almonds
1/4 C Seeds
1/4 cup coconut
1/3 C Maple Syrup
1/4 C Apple Puree
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 C Dried Fruit

Combine all ingredients EXCEPT dried fruit. Mix well. Bake at 300f/150c degrees for 35-45 minutes, stirring occassionally, till golden brown.

Remove from oven and stir in dried fruit. Cool, and store in airtight container

Fat: 8.4g
Carbohydrates: 59.9g
Protein: 11.9g

I chop my almonds, you can use fewer and they go further. I also use a mix of seeds - pumpkin, sesame, linseed, sunflower, etc.
