Freezing Mince

Hi all, need some advice. I make chilli with extra lean beef mince. Then i pack it up and freeze portions individually - how long would you say they would be OK lasting for? In the past i've eaten all the portions quite quickly so never thought about it.....do you think a month?

I defrost it before i heat it up.

I normally keep things for about a month

I would keep it for 2-3 months. It's fine once you freeze it

I once left it 5 months by accident and didn't want to waste it with the cost of extra lean mince so we ate it for tea and were all fine still standing! I'm strict with chicken or fish but mince not so much. x
