Well, I tried doing Slimming World from home by myself and had zero permanent results so I've now signed up and started going to group again. My Mum's going with me too, which is great as I'm not keen on going to group alone.

I rejoined 5 weeks ago (I did it about 12 years ago, then stopped going and gradually the weight piled back on) and this time I'm finding it so much easier! I'm wheat-free, which limits what I can eat but I'm finding it a lot easier to manage knowing that I can't eat most of the syn-heavy foods without making myself ill. I don't feel like I'm depriving myself so much this time around and mentally I'm feeling much more motivated. I was 22 the last time I did it and I think I prioritised my social life too much and slimming not enough. However, now I have no social life so can focus on slimming down! :D

So far I've lost 13.5 lbs, with a loss each week and I won slimmer of the week once! I weigh-in Tuesday evenings and I'm hoping for a good loss this week too!

It's nice to be back on the wagon!
