Hi everyone. I thought I could start a daily thread for everyone just to jot down how their day is going, how you are feeling about life/LL. Or just anything in general.

So I'll start this one off.......

So glad it is Friday, just like BL. I had a week off last week and feel like I didn't really relax at all. So this weekend is all about chilling. Hopefully we will go and see the next Harry Potter film as it's been out ages but hopefully that will mean it will be quiet!!

Work is a little boring at the moment as it is that time of year where we are so quiet. Never mind, it gives me time to come on here and chat with you lovely people.

Right, who's next?

Good idea Becks.

We used to do a daily Hour by Hour thread, and it was really helpful. Ad fun too.

I am going to have a chilled weekend. Medicate and Meditate! Determined to get this pain in my chest to go away. NOW. :D

Hubby is working, so house is all mine. Might even get around to doing some Oil Painting, or beadwork. If I can get off me arse to get organised. :D

Hope HP is a good film - I want to see it too!!

hi guys
im loving the 6 weeks holidays - i really think i don't want to go back to work in september!
ive been baking all morning and i'm off to the park soon in an attempt to get mt youngest daughter to cycle without stabilisers - and to clock up a few steps on my pedometer

i'm going to a friends for tea tonight with the kids then hubby will be home later - he's been in dublin working all week.

im trying to plan my food shopping for the family - inspired by the 'economy gastronomy' tv program. i haven't added up my weekly shopping bill, i'm a bit scared to tbh as i shop in a random way and both the last two families of 5 were surprised they were
spending well over £250 a week on food

My day has been very nice thankyou!
Decided that as it's a school holiday I should at least have a few days oiff over summer so took the day off, had a lie-in, went out for a bike ride in the sunshine, cleaned my whole flat, played some cards with some friends, now I'm chilling out to a Dashboard Confessional album and about to go and pack for my weekend away, I'm going to Empire's Movie-Con on London all weekend, it's going to be great! :)

Hiya

I have a few days off to spend some time with the kids before they go back to school on Tuesday.

We stayed at a friends cottage in Aberdeenshire last night which is fantastic place in the middle of the woods. We headed off for a walk today - only three miles but with young kids it takes forever, so we took a picnic. Ate the picnic in the rain while fending off the midges, ended up getting absolutely soaked, but brilliant fun was had by all. We watched slugs eating funghi, examined termite mounds for activity, had sword fights with a variety of sticks, climbed trees and hunted the gruffalo. And then there are all the fairy hidey holes....

Now I have to dry everything out before we head off for a soaking again tomorrow :)

Had a total crap week at work, busiest its been in since I've been there, so spent time chilling after work, came home and was sorting things for the little man's first bday tomorrow, will be the first saturday I haven't worked for months. Looking forward to it, plus the football season starts, come on the mighty blues!!
