I have a friend like that, never comments on my weight loss, but I am expected to praise enthusiastically when she loses a pound. I figure it is a jealousy thing.

Sometimes people really don't see the weight I have 2 friends who really didn't see that i was fat until there was a conversation and they took a step back and said well yeah now you say it i can see your overweight but we have only really seen you and not the weight. Which is nice that they are not judgemental but then I do have the jealous friends who just don't say anything at all and it has to be
1) because they are so wrapped up in their own stuff to notice
2) They were happy when you were the fat one of the group
Some people just don't what to or know how to mention weight loss or gain for fear of upsetting you.

Either way we are all doing fab and who cares what they think all i know is i don't want to be know as the fat/bubbly one in my group anymore and I don't ever want to hear the words "oh but you have lovely eyes or such a pretty face" when i say i want to lose weight I want to blend in and not stand out if that makes sense.
