From one extreme to the other - food diary!

Food looked good yesterday, it is impressive how low calories are when you have eaten 3 decent meals - I suppose that is why slimming world works x

yeah I tend to do it more because it helps me limit my carbs - before I was filling up on carbs so god knows how high my calorie in take was! X

Haha sorry. I'll have to try a pizza wrap too. I'm literally obsessed with pizza.

Was reallly good! Even my OH wants it again tonight it was that good (granted he had like double the amount of cheese, pepperoni and chicken tikka on his so it was dripping with oil lol!)

So my friends have arranged for us all to go out to our favourite vegetarian restaurant Thursday night – I cannot begin to describe how amazing the food is there, but the caloriphic and syn content must be through the roof. Last time I went I had paneer tikka skewers for starter and battered halloumi with chips – it was amazing so I’m pushing weigh day back to Thursday in order to make the most of it!

Breakfast: Alpen Light Jaffa Cakes (HexB) Coffee throughout the day (HexA)

Lunch: Spicy butternut squash, pepper and tomato brown rice, with lettuce, a boiled egg, 2 Quorn low fat sausages and the last of my homemade BBQ sauce

Dinner: (Lacking a bit on the super free front) Pizza & Chips! Bfree Warp (HexB), topped with passatta, garlic granules, oregano, basil, 30g grated cheddar (HexA), sliced peppers and tomatoes with air fryer chips. 1 Lemon Mullerlight Goodies (2.5 syns)

Calories: 1144 – feels like it should have been much more!

It's soooooo good but does kind of feel like a heart attack on a plate! x

Oooh the wrap pizza looks good!!!!

I have never been to a veggie restaurant, sounds good though.

Oh Hubz you don't know what you're missing! If you're ever in Cardiff you should go to Milgi's - its sooo good!

Bit of an emotional night last night – received more bad news about my Granddad, he’s not in good shape at all and it’s really worrying me. To top it off two of my friends started arguing last night on FB in a joint conversation between the 3 of us – when someone you care about is so unwell it really puts things in perspective about how trivial some things (and people!) can be!

On a happier note – food was nice today.

Breakfast: Alpen light Jaffa Cake (HexB) Coffee throughout the day (HexA)

Lunch: Whole wheat cous cous, with roasted butternut squash, pepper and tomato with a quorn pork steak (1/2 syn)

Dinner: My version of Nacho feast – have seen everyone’s pictures of it and couldn’t find the recipe (I actually managed to find it after I’d made it!) so just made it up as I went along. Shared this with OH so 30g RF cheddar on top as HexA. 1 Lemon Muller light goodies (2.5 Syns)

Before I put the cheese on top

Thanks lovely - yeah nacho feast was yum but not sure about the texture it made my wedges go! Think I did it wrong so will try again with the correct recipe lol! X

Sorry to hear about your grandad and hope ur friends sort it out without getting you involved x

Unfortunately they've dragged me into it - they're both good friends of mine but I'm trying to stay impartial but am tending to agree with one more than the other! Argh - friends!!

Totally cheated and weighed in this morning because of the gorge I intend to go on later… but 3lb off! Was shocked (and chuffed)! That’s 3lb off Saturday’s weight but 6lb off Friday’s weight! Whoop!

I’ve got to admit that I didn’t eat an awful lot yesterday so imagine that had a bit of an impact.

Breakfast: Alpen Light Jaffa Cake (HexB) Coffee throughout the day (HexA)

Lunch: Peanut butter noodle stirfry (4.5 syns)

Dinner: 3 or 4 salt and vinegar crisps (3 syns approx) and 1 lemon mullerlight goodies (2.5 syns)

I got in really late from the casting hence the yoghurt for dinner. Can’t wait for the food tonight – bring on the battered halloumi!

Well done on the loss x

Oh I did actually mean to say well done also!

haha thanks lovely! It was on an earlier comment back last year - it's just noodles with soy sauce, chilli and peanut butter - so quick and easy. I chucked in some carrots peppers onions and quorn chicken pieces so bulk it out a bit x
