Fruit syn value

This is my first post here!

Ive done SW in the past - lost weight then put it all back on :mad:

Now I'm determinted to shift the baby weight!

We had a lovely fruit salad for sweet last night but I'm confused as to if it was free or not.

We were on a green day and the salad had kiwi, banana, orange, pineapple, plum grapes and mango in.

In my 'bible' is says all these fruits raw whole are free on all days yet gives say mango a syn value of 8 when its 1 large one.

Are they free and when do they have a syn value if they are raw??

As far as i know all fresh fruit is completely superfree. (on lifeline online its also superfree) Im not sure about the mango, could it mean for tinned? i dont evan know if you can get tinned mango!
Tinned, Stewed/Cooked or Blended fruit has syns is this what it could be for?

I've just checked lifeline online and Mango's definitely free (I even did a syn search for "mango" and I couldn't get anything to come up at 8syns, it's 11 something for a tinned bit in syrup) hth :D

Mango is not just free, it is superfree, so long as it is not sweetened, tinned, pureed or cooked.

Where exactly did you read about it being 8 syns?
