Gail's diary and thoughts on her SW journey

44 syns for a measly bun  I wouldn't waste 10 syns on one, let alone 44!!!!!!!

Ahh...but THESE are magical mystical buns!

They hypnotise you into eating them!

Over and over again!

Sometimes several times in one day!

Don't they Gail???! ;)

Hey, just been having a read through your diary. Im in awe at how well you've done! xxx

Waheey it's Gateshead takeover - why aye man,

Them Cinnbons sound dangerous - so glad I ain't got a sweet tooth!

Have any of you heard of Beignets? They were all going mad for them in Florida - freshly cooked/baked and dusted in sugar - proper food porn for the sweet toothed.

French Quarter Beignets Recipe : Paula Deen : Food Network

mini dusted donuts?

Sorry Stevie boy, that isn't floating my boat at all :(

I have to say they're doing it for me!!! ;)

2-2 on the Bignets vote - I'm with Lou, not doing anythings for me either.

Not sure about those. I LOVE freshly cooked doughnuts with granulated sugar on (like at the fairground) but not sure that these are calorie laden enough for an obsession for me :p. Thanks for the thought though :)

Chels - definitely stay well clear of the cinnabons if you have an addictive personality.

Good day today. Out for dinner at a friends who made a real effort with food. Wasn't great all the same (bit of salami, quiche, cheese) but not too bad either (salad, baked spud and fruit for pudding). So am happy with this week so far. Not sure I'm going to make 2 lb loss but there's time yet. It's only Tuesday !

I've found out that I'm addicted to sugar these days - especially sugary doughnuts!! I think eating healthily has made me ultra sensitive or something.

Glad you're having a good week, that dinner sounded yummy!! :)

Definitely not Bess - they are like 44 syns each!

 I won't even look out for them then! Pass me the salted almonds and the red wine instead please! ;)

Sorry Gail - didn't mean to hijack your thread;)

I know what you mean Lou - they do nothing for me, but I have no sweet tooth so cream cakes, donuts, cinnabons etc. do nowt for me either.

Now bagels & cream chese is a different matter....;)

I only mentioned it, because you had to see the Americans going absolutely crazy for these - and I mean crazy! think Harrods having an everything for a £1 day and you'll know what I mean.

I was almost tempted to try one - just to see what the fuss was about, but as I say it would be wasted on me. Apparently it's a huge sugar-rush. A speciality of New Orleans too (I stayed at the Port Orleans French Quarter at Disney - hence the food was all Louisianna/New Orleans specialtities).

Anyway, back to business.

2lb is gettable, Gail (Gettable Gail - I like that. Not as much as Dirty Dawn, or Lewd Lou, but I like it;))

Anyway, even if it isn't this week, there's always next week.

Steve (Cliché man):)

I think Gail Force was best, or Gorgeous Gail.......from Batty Bess.

Lewd Lou :8855:

Well, it was either that or Loopy:eek: - lewd being much more accurate....

I think Gail Force was best, or Gorgeous Gail.......from Batty Bess.

Er, just leave the illiteration to the meister here. I make those life-changing decisions.

Now know your place or there'll be mischief you hear me Brazen Bess;)

I think you can all choose one for Gail and then I'll judge* the winner.

I'm a great believer in democracy.

* I use the word judge lightly. I will look at them all and choose my own:p
