Hello Everyone,

You have no idea how happy I am to join this community. I think I’ve exhausted my family and friends with my constant rants about weightloss. I realised it was about time I found a platform where others like me come to share their journey, good and bad.

I’m 5” and currently weighing 60kg. 8 years ago I weighed 47kg and was moderately active. Over the years I developed stress and anxiety which then became a threesome when depression joined the party. I don’t drink or smoke, so food became my addiction. Emotional eating became second nature to me. As I gained weight I only became more depressed.

Now im determined to work on myself both mentally and physically. Im trying my best to eat better and I’ve finally started going to the gym again (nothing strenuous, just mild workouts atm)

I hope to make some good friends to help me stay motivated and on target and I hope to be able to do the same for them.

Goal weight: 55kg
Ultimate goal weight: 50kg
