getting confuuused!

hi every1 i am completely new to this site so please bear with me!

i have been doing SW for just under 3 months n so far doing well - had a loss every week! :)

so far i have been following EE, not a problem! :)
but i wanted to try red and green, just to see whatthey are like etc etc...

so yesterday i had a red day, today a green and tomorrow probably EE.

anyway i was looking on the FB memeber support and someone mentioned success express!? so now i am getting confused lol y are there so many and which 1 am i supposed to be following? or am i ok with the red/green/EE atm?

also i am struggling with using all the HEs and syns (although i making sure i have 5 a day now as explained by my consultant!) but does it matter if i dont use HEs? i probably use 1 HEAa day with milk in my coffee (just under) and i occassionaly use a HEB...does that matter?

Don't worry about success express - that's like a booster plan if your weight loss needs a bit of a kick start. Have a search on here for some great explanatory threads if you're interested.

You should eat your hex's for good health. You get a wider choice on red and green so there must be something you can incorpoate. You're not on plan 100% if you're missing bits out!

Sounds as though you're doing a great job though - well done on your losses so far!

ok i will make more effort to get in my HEs! at least it will make me look at my book more everyday which should keep me on track!
i think ill leave success express for now then! ill keep it in mind for if/when my loss slows :)
i have 4lb until my 2st award so hoping for a 2lb loss this week so im halfway n really dont want to sabotage my chnaces by doing something as silly as not eating enough! lol x

I've only been doing it a month butI've read up on it A LOT so I'll try and help anyway:

Regarding your plan, as far as I'm aware you can do whatever you like, mix Red/Green/EE through the week, or just pick one and stick with it, whatever you fancy. I personally am exclusively doing Extra Easy just because I struggle having JUST carbs or JUST protein, I like to have them together :)
Success Express is just a way to boost your weightloss even more. You know how on Extra Easy you have 1/3 of your plate filled with superfree food (fruit/veg)? Well on Success Express make it 2/3. That means youre filling up on EVEN MORE veg than before, and replacing what would normally be carbs or protein with lower calorie foods, which will speed up your weightloss. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong here!

Regarding your HEXAs and HEXBs, YES, its crucial you have these! Without them your body wont be getting the calcium and fibre it needs to keep your body healthy and you will suffer in the long run. I really struggle with it sometimes, but really force myself to have them because its super important. If you don't have much milk, maybe one dash a day with a hot drink, switch to Whole Milk, that way you need less for your HEXA and youre still getting your full amount of calcium.

Oh how can you struggle to get the healthy extras, they're my fave bit lol pass them on to me :p

Like Rowley said, switch to whole milk. Could you not have some cereal for breakfast with your whole milk then you're using 2 of your healthy extras in one go? Less of a struggle. 2 weetabix and whole milk allowance sounds yum! Sliced banana on top lol
I started doing green days and try to have both of my hexa's so when I do an extra easy day there's a big difference for my body to recognise lol

Oh and you can have some weighed out meat for hexb on green day/weighed out pasta potatoes etc on red days so you could use those if u struggle on the 'normal' hexb's?
 
TBH i think im finding it hard as im finding the whole plan quite hard to get my head around? lol i been doing it 3 months nearly and it still seems surreal that i can have bread and cheese and chocolate lol and still loose weight!? lol
i suffered with an eating disorder years ago and limited myself to 200 Cals a day :rolleyes: n that was the last time i lost weight since then i have PILED it on lol but obviously wanted to do it the right way and i chose SW too as it seemed to be the most education with the food optimising etc :) ,,hope that made sense!

yeh i could do a cereal and milk and fruit for b/fast! ill start tomorrow! :) xXx
 
Think that would be a great way for u to get them in without forcing coffee and cheese down lol bran flakes are actually quite nice with milk and sliced banana also. I can't imagine any other fruit with cereal and milk that's why I've only suggested banana sorry lol

I do green days and really enjoy them (do EE if eating out or planning meat/fish for tea) so if you are struggling I don't mind being a helping hand! We are all beginners to start with arnt we :)
