    Hi all

After hesitating for so long (for various reasons), I'm getting ready to start Xenical on saturday.
I'm VERY, VERY nervous about it.

Can anyone tell me if the following are ok to eat, please
    Bananas
    Bagels
    Granary bread.

    Many thanks
    Lins

i eat granary bread on accasions , i find them not so bad but like ALL things you eat you have to check if its under the 5g of fat per 100 grams not per slice... bananas are fine =] i eat them...

not sure about bagels if im honest.. maybe someone else knows... i always just read the pack...if in doubt that is =]

good luck you will be fine.. x

    Hi

Thanks for reply. Do you know about lean bacon? I assume that's a no-no?

Bagels should be ok ( depends on who the manufacturer is and what type of bagel) , and lean bacon probably not. Turkey bacon is fine:)
To be honest the best thing you can do is always check the labels of everything you buy. Its time consuming I know, but I found it a real eye opener when I started the tablets
And also don't assume that because you've checked the label once, that the info wont change, companies are always making sure that their nutritional info is always correct, so it can change
    xx

Yep I took your advice about reading the labels and so far it's going really well and have not had any nasty side effects... the only down side is that it now takes me 5 times longer to get around the supermarket :D

I just love holding all that food in my hands.... If I cant eat it I am damn well gonna hang onto it as long as I can..

    Only kidding :D

I still cant understand why meat doesnt have labels on?

    Welcome Lins x
