Why were you given your particular name?
After my autie Iris, who is in her 80's and she is very glam, even now!!

How many brothers and sisters do you have?
3 brothers, (2 older, 1 younger) and 1 sister. (had 2, one died).

What is your favorite thing to do?
Be in the allotment and looking after my wee babies (veggies)

What is your favorite food?
Anything Turkish, list could go on and on!

What is your favorite book?
Oh, have a few, but my a few of my favourites would be Wild Swans, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and Kite Runner.

What is your favorite candy bar?
Anything Thorntons, and white choc
What is your favorite cookie?
Choc chip

What is your favorite sport?
To watch: anything Motorsports
To participate: Running, Walking.
What is your favorite kind of music?
Motown !!!

What is your favorite song?
Take me back to the Black Hills of Dakota (from Calamity Jane), cry every time I hear it...it was my mums favourite song, and mine too!!

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I wanted to be a foreign correspondent! But, then became a naughty child at school and well, it went by the wayside! One day I will go and study journalism...one of my many goals in life.

How many kids do you want when you get married?
I am married and never wanted any, so havent got any and I have one little pussy cat who is my little child now!

What is your favorite temple?
Dont have a temple..but favourite place I visited was the Blue Mosque in Istanbul...fascinating, but loved my old Church in Glasgow and that was my favourite :)

What place you would like to know about?
Heaven, or that higher place :)

What place would you like to visit?
India and New Zealand.

What is your favorite thing about your mom?

I love my smile, and that I am easy to get on with; probably too easy..hhaa

Do you like to sing?
Yes, but I dont now. I used to sing in a Youth Choir and I am quite a good singer, but havent sang for years...mmm...made me think!

Do you like to dance?
Yes, but cant! No rythm at all!

Do you like to play a musical instrument?
Yes, self taught guitar and flute many years ago.

What musical instruments can you play? Above, but not very well...another goal in life is to be taught how to read music, buy a flute (sold other one) and learn to play beautiful music!

What is your favorite type of art?
Not sure whether I have a type of art, if I am honest..dont particularly like modern, and appreciate the old classics.

Have you ever seen a broadway musical?
No, but yes, but no...seen a few musicals but not in Broadway, but in UK, and love them, but the other half isnt so sure!!!

Do you like theater? YES!

Do you like building things? YES!

What would you like to learn about cars?
Nothing, as I married an expert, so no need to know anything!

What would you like to teach others about?
How to be more approachable to others and not be so nasty. I also love to teach about growing fruit and veggies!!

What are three adjectives which describe you?
positive, Scottish ;-), friendly.

How would your friend describe you to someone who has never seen you?
Easy to get on with, smiles a lot ;-)

In five years, what kind of person will you be?
Older!!!!! And hopefully wiser.

What do you want to be doing in five years? Older again and even wiser!!!

Still working where I am, but with no mortgage and winding down...

History and French.

When you have an hour of free time, what do you like to do? Do nothing as I dont do nothing very often!

What is the strangest thing you ever did?
Married my first hubby, knowing as I walked down the aisle, "what the hell am I doing"!!!

What is the strangest food you ever ate?
Tripe! Used to love it, tripe, onions and potatoes..oh, gosh, dont think I could stomach it now!!!

Haven't got one, I always forget what they were called once I finish reading it anyway. I guess if I had to choose one, it would be the one about the Mother who kept her children locked up in the attic, while she had a new life, but forget the name of it.

Crunchy
What is your favorite cookie?
Chocolate chip and blueberry muffin. Is that a cookie?

What is your favorite sport?
To watch: None really.
To participate: Badminton.
What is your favorite kind of music?
Varies from 60's to todays music, a right variety.

What is your favorite song?
These change all the time, but at present, its Human, by the Killers.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I never want to grow up.

How many kids do you want when you get married?
I have 2 sons and 2 step daughters.

What place you would like to know about?

Her fun loving nature, I just wish she was still with us. Miss you Mum.

He was such an unintentional comic, loved that about him, and like my Mum, I wish he was still with us too, I miss him and my Mum SOOOO much.
What is your favorite thing about yourself?
So easy to get on with. Fun loving.

Do you like to sing?
I have been known to sing a karaoke song or two :8855:

Yes, I love dancing.

Do you like to play a musical instrument?
Self taught piano, but not brilliantly. Tried the guitar but it hurt my fingers.

Les Mis in London...does that count?

Never been interested.

Played indoor cricket for charity, every game you won, the team had to drink a crate of pils lager, so it was 3 bottles to each person, then if you won the next game, you had to do the same again. We won four rounds, I woke up underneath the bed that night :8855:

What is the strangest food you ever ate?
Some concoction a Turkish man made for me last year when I felt poorly. More of a drink than a food, but it consisted of something like Turkish coffee, soda water, salt, lemon juice - tasted vile, but boy oh boy, it really worked.

After my father's sister who died in a housefire when she was 2 (I've always had mixed feelings about this!)

1 sister - 7 years older than me

Spend time with people I love

Greek - probably Kleftiko

Don't have a favourite book but authors are John Grisham, Jeffrey Archer, Jane Green for fiction and Wayne Dyer, Esther & Jerry Hicks and Gill Edwards for .... hmmm, what to call them - Self-help? Philosophy? Whatever, they're brilliant.

It's not a bar (tho' they did used to make a bar of it) Thornton's viennese truffles. OR Lindor chocs, any except dark choc ones

All butter anything

70's & 80's stuff. I like Queen.

Don't think I've got one. I'd have to think longer about that!

I have never had any idea what I want to be/do, it's all sort of just happened.

How many kids do you want when you get married?
I wanted 4, 2 of each. I had 3, 2 boys and a girl and then married my 2nd husband who had a girl so I guess in a way I got my wish. However if anyone asks me about kids now I always say that my husband and I have 4 between us, 1 of each .... and leave them to work it out :D

My favourite church is St Nicholas's in Montgomery but I LOVE Liverpool Cathedral (the Anglican one, though the other one is lovely too)

My unconscious!

Thailand, India, Caribbean ........ Love to go back to San Fransisco too

Her acceptance of her condition, she's not a 'difficult' person to help.

Not on Broadway but again no prizes for guessing who compiled this. I don't like the big musicals - I don't understand them but I don't mind plays with songs - like Blood Brothers.

Well if you mean houses, walls, flat pack furniture ... NO. If you mean leggo things or relationships then YES.

There are men in the world ... the words dog and bark yourself spring to mind!

Without a doubt the law of attraction. The fact that we create our own reality with our thoughts, that we get what we think about, whether we want it or not. That we have to change the way we think, the way we are to get what we want. 'Change the way you look at things and the things you look at will change', ' you'll see it when you believe it' ... I could go on and on but better not :p

You are one of the lucky ones .. as I was for many years .. you have both .. make the most of them and try to see their point of view -where they're coming from before dismissing anything they might say. .. If you really feel they are your best friends you are REALLY lucky ;) .. most people don't realise this is actually the case until it's too late!! :eek: xx

I always listen to my parents, might not like what they say and half the time disagree with them but i know what they do say is probably for the best!
