Giving blood whilst on SS?

Does anyone know if its safe to give blood whilst on SS?

I could always contact the blood service people, but wondered if anyone here has any experience.

I don't think it's allowed but I'm not 100% sure.

No. Sorry, but you can't give blood on a VLCD.

Rose is right - you are not advised/allowed to give blood on SS this is because SS changes the viscosity of your blood.
