It's a funny kind of day for me, am in a thoughtful, almost maudlin mood.

I've been looking at people's journeys, their current weight and goals, and something struck me.....

I have set my goal to 12 and a half stone. I haven't been this weight for about 8 years, I was about 9lbs lighter when I married 8.5 years ago, wore a size 14 and was very happy with my body back then.

The thing is, my 'goal' is viewed by some as their 'horrendous' weight. It's funny how different people think isn't it. I'd give my right arm to be that weight right now, instead of 15 stone and a size 20. But then again, I guess my start weight is viewed by others as a 'goal' on their journey.

Funny old world....

i have set my goal as 12 stone 6, just within the healthy BMI range, but would like to get to 12 stone by working properly through maintenence. I will be a healthy weight for my height then, and i know some people still look at it as hugely heavy, i will be happy with it. everyones different, and if i was 5 foot 2 then i would probably still need to go further, but at 5 foot 10 i think it will be perfect for me and my shape! but i have never been anywhere near that weight that i can remember, so who knows, i might decide to go further. I want it to be maintainable though.
