I am hoping this is going to help me shift this last stone and a bit......so here goes!
A bit about me....

I've been big for as long as I can remember. I have seen photos of me when I was about 7 and I was a waif, but since then my weight has really yo-yo'd. I was 9st aged 16, but saw myself as huge, but looking back at photos, I wasn't much bigger than most of my friends. So that is where I have set my target - 9st. At 5ft 1in it is possibly at the higher end of a healthy weight, but I thought if I give that a go, if I want to be slimmer, I can just keep going. I started back in Jan as a New Year's Resolution. I was 11st 11, which is not as big as the 12st 8lb I was at the start of 2010. I am currently hovering about 10st 3lb, but with a couple of very wobbly weeks, I have decided to start my food diary.

I am currently doing SW from home, with a set of books from 2011, and this forum for help. But I think that I will join a group after the Easter holidays to heolp me get the last stone or so off....

Any constructive criticism is more than welcome :eek: I need as much help as I can get! I have been doing EE until last week when I tried and failed to get my head around red and green days! Hopefully I have cracked it now, though :rolleyes:

Tuesday 10th April - Red day

Breakfast
2 slices of wholemeal toast (hex b)
42g light cheddar (hex a)
sliced onion and tomato

Snack - apple

Lunch
Boiled egg and tuna salad - sliced egg, shredded white cabbage, carrots, onions, tomatoes, xlight mayo (1 syn) tin of tuna
2 x sponge fingers (4 syns)

Snack - strawberries and grapes

Dinner -
sw homemade turkey burgers made from turkey breast in food processor
potato wedges made from 200g potato (hex b)
carrots and cauliflower
salad

muller light yoghurt

250ml milk(hex a) divided between tea and the last of it in an options hot choc:p (3 syns)

8 syns total - not bad after my chocoholic weekend!!
 
Ok. Day two.

Wednesday 11th April
- Green day (i think!)

Breakfast
Wholemeal toast + butter (1/2 hexb) (1 syn)
Mushroom omlette + cheese (hex a)

Lunch
Pasta with passata, courgettes, onions and tomatoes
Cheese (1/2 hex b)
1 x orange delicious homemade pudding (5 syns - but worth it!)

Snacks
2x oranges
1 sponge finger (1.5 syns)

Dinner
Portion tuna (hex b)
28g olives (1.5 syns)
Asda ranch salad (without ranch dressing)
Toms, celery, cucumber, green peppers
Sliced gherkins, pickled onions and beetroot
Fat free French dressing
Shape apple crumble yoghurt (1/2 syn)

250ml semi skimmed milk (hex a) in tea and hot choc
Options indulgence hot choc (3 syns)

13 syns total and fingers crossed I got the green day right!

Thursday 12th April - Red day

2 x Ryvita fruit crunch (hex b)
15g Choc Philly (2 syns)
An apple and an orange

Lunch
2 x turkey burgers (homemade) from synned mince :mad: (2 syns)
1 x wholemeal roll (hex b) and a smidgen of butter (1 syn)
Tomatoes, gherkins, shredded salad
Toffee mullerlight

Dinner
Hunter's chicken (cheese - 1/2 hex a)
Green beans. cauliflower, carrots and courgettes
75g low fat custard (3 syns) and chopped banana

125ml milk in tea (1/2 hex a)
2 x sponge fingers (3 syns)

Friday 13th April - EE day

Breakfast
Giant mushrooms with eggs and bacon topped with low fat cheese (1/2 hex a)
An orange

Lunch
Leftover pasta and veg
Syn free meringue and syn free lemon curd with fruit salad

Dinner
2 teco light choices cumberland sausages (2 syns)
Rice
Salad
Baked beans

More meringue lemon curd and fruit with 25g light squirty cream (2 syns)
Crackers (hex b) with no syn cream cheese and tomatoes

125ml milk in tea (1/2 hex a)

1 hex a, 2 hex b
2 syns! Yay!

Saturday 14th April - reddish day!

Today was a bad day syn wise:cry:. A meal out put the kybosh on my good ways this week! Oh well!

Asda cheese curls (5 syns)

Dinner
Seafood platter (guess 8 syns as it all seemed fried)
Salad
A few chips (10 syns)

Dinner
Roast chicken
200g jacket potato
roasted onions. courgettes and peppers
carrots and green beans

Jelly dessert and 12.5g squirty low fat cream (1 syn)

1 x dinosaur chocolate (3 syns)
Options indulgence hot choc (3 syns)

Feeling quite positive today. I'm hoping that I can break through the 10st barrier this week :innocent0001: . Although I am planning to start at a group on Friday and my weight will definitely go up compared with my home WI's as I will not being weighed semi-clad before my shower!!

I have decided I need to drink more, as I am getting quite a few headaches, but this could also just be me going through sugar withdrawal again after the last 2 weekends!! Hopefully they will go away soon, as I have always tended to cure headaches with food!!

I've been good so far today, and will post my food diary later, or even tomorrow...depends on what's on telly :eek:

Homemade syn free veggie soup

Quorn with stirfry vegetables
Bachelors packet pasta - odd combination i know, but the veg needed using up and I had no more noodles or rice!!
Jelly made with Muller yoghurt

Wednesday 18th April - EE day

Not such a great day today
:( I seemed to struggle to eat enough superfree to make it a good EE day. I was trying to use up some leftovers though, and having made a cheesecake that should have been low syn, i forgot i was on extra easy and had already had my hex b!! Tomorrow is another day....

The homemade choccie biscuits were made because I have a friend coming over tomorrow and have no time to nip to the shops to buy something. I had to use what was in the cupboard ie full fat everything!! They are scrummy melt in the mouth mocha type biscuits....mmmmmm I will have to have some willpower to resist another!!
