Got my date

I've had a phone call from the hospital this morning, they've given me a provisional date for the op. So, barring emergencies (she particularly said skin cancer patients), and as I'm not an essential operation, it's going to be the 24th October. But, if an emergency comes in, it'll be the 31st. I'm going to be in for around 3 or 4 days, but then no CD till after New Year at least.
