got my patch stuck on my arm...

since yesterday lunchtime...and i havent had a ciggie since!!

wooooooo hooooo nearly a whole day..

if anyone wants to /needs to give up smoking I reccommend going to see your local Doc. i got my prescription for 28 days supply of patchs and a large box of 105 peices of chewing gum for the price of 2 prescriptions

when i went to sainsburys last night i priced it up
the patches were £15.99 for 7 days so thats £64.00
and the gum was £18.99 for the large box

so far so good.

When I get to 13 stones I am going to give up as well and u can hold me to that as u r the one weighing me LOL.

i thought i would do it cause i was visiting the gym, sweating like a whatsit for 1 1/2 hours then jumping in the car and lighting upon the way home....what was the point in doing that?

Best of luck! I gave up a year ago and so pleased I did.

Our doctors wont do patches etc on prescription, which is a damn nuisance as I get prescriptions free so would have made even more dosh!

The very best of luck... If you have any problem at all try the inhaler... I used one along with patches to give up my 40 a day habit 3 years ago... (you put it in your mouth and suck (oooh errr ) and it gives a little nicotine kick which you can actually feel).. I used it at various times for nearly 18 months... But have never ever touched a ciggie and I had been smoking for 25 years...
