Does anyone else have green tea?

Yes I am a green tea addict!!! Take it to work and drink throughout tha day as a change from ordinary and Earl Grey or Lady Grey. Drink all my teas black with no milk or sugar so syn free!!!!!!! Green is great and good for water retention, so Ive been told. Love it to bits. Makes you feel clean and angelic

I really wanted to try it, but don't drink tea, of any kind, I prefer my cold drinks.
I have instead bought the green tea tablets, which I hope will have the same healthy effects as the actual tea. Got them yesterday, so no idea if they are having any benefit, I heard that they are supposed to help the digestive system and have a cleansing effect. I often feel a bit bloated so here's dreaming that they work...

I love the green tea and it's very good for digestion, especially if you are feeling bloated.

Avoid it too early in the day, as I find if I drink it with not much in my tummy I get a dizziness and slight off tummy feeling.

In the morning I have a white tea with vanilla and throughout the day I have about 3 cups of PG green tea with mint.

I don't see why you can't make the green tea up and chill and serve with ice??? Would be nice with a slice of lime.

I drink a cup or two of green tea daily, not sure if it does anything but i know people who swear by it. I have to have it with a sweetner in it and i buy the clipper brand as i find the others a bit bitter. I also take one green tea herbal capsual a day you can get them from Holland and Barret I think it does help with bloatedness and water retention xxxx

I'm a Green Tea fan and it does help with the bloating and is a natural appetitie suppressant too. I tend to drink it mostly at work and drink it cold too as its great as a chilled drink in the summer. I keep a jug of it cold in the fridge and its a wee change from just regular water sometimes.

What I have found though and this is mainly from my friends and people at work etc is that they expect the health benefits to materialise instantly and think it helps to shed lbs, whereas like most things its just another tool in our weightloss toolbox and not a miracle tablet/drink that works independantly.

I do however think it does my insides good.

    Happy Sunday everyone x

Green tea is appearing in everything! Lots of cold mineral drinks contain green tea and I think one of the new diet coke plus's has got green tea in it
