Greeneyes will PERSEVERE.........

Sorry to hear you've been struggling Linda. It seems so hard getting back into losing again after eating lovely food again. I did find that doing low gi stuff made a fair difference to making me feel satisfied, without all the extra cals. Maybe that may help? I'm giving it another attempt to shed the last stone or so, really wish in part i didn't have to rely on going back to supplements but time is against me. Hope you have a lovely time in SA. Enjoy and you can refocus when you get back. xx

hey greeneyes lovely to see you round again. if it make you feel any better I feel exactly the same as you and need to get back in control! - have updated my diary so wont hijack your thread with details. but lets do it together adn have a FAB time in SA

Sorry to hear about the weight, but it's not a lot and probably just a fluctuation. It is a good to wait until after hols to decide what to do.
I agree - not happy on CD, but not happy not on or with my weight. It's a hard decision.

Hi Linda, hope SA going well. Come and fill us in when you get back! xx

Hi guys, well arrived back from SA yesterday, we had such a totally awesome time, 5* hotel in Pretoria, hospitality at match with food, more food, drink and more drink and then even more after match. Drink, crisps, sandwiches all free in hotel and then went to Nando's and ate in the hotel restaurant one night, massive ostrich burger, chips, roll and their cake dessert is double the helping we would get here, so double portion of Amarula cake, breakfast each morning, eat as much as you like cold meats, cereals, cooked breakfast, anything you can possibly imagine.... didn't sleep properly, didn't eat properly lazed around and nearly died when I got on the scales this morning.... for some really bizarre reason have continued with naff eating today aswell even though I am so down about my weight gain... what to do now as we are off on holiday for a week in 2.5 weeks..... aaargh!!

Linda, how bad is the damage? Could you shift just the South Africa gain in the 2 weeks before you go on your next hol? Maybe that would make you feel better? That and a couple of walks a week.

Glad you had a fabulous time :) xxx

Hey linda,

2 weeks til another holiday...lucky you!! Glad you had a great time in SA where are you off next? A great 2 weeks of healthy eating and exercise will make you feel so much better before your next trip, easy to make the mistake of 'oh well what's the point i'm off again soon' but taking control and not stressing about the scales can only help you feel better than you do now.
Hope you have a great day today!
x

Well I think I will probably shift the SA weight quickly as got on the scales today and although I ate every bad thing in sight yesterday to get it out of the way I dont weigh more than yesterday. So today joined weightwatchers again and maybe if I go every week I might just be able to stick to it.... and then see how I feel after next holiday. It is only staying in our caravan in Brighton for a week, so food is often bad, but I have 2 weeks to plan some good menus.... thanks for your words of encouragement girls.

get your attention onto those meal plans hun!!!

I feel for you and it sounds like we're in the same boat so lets keep motivating each other on this!
We know we can be better than we are at the moment!

I have 30 days until we go on holiday so im taking each day at a time! Come on hun, if we take it a day at a time, we will get there i'm sure

xx

Yesterday I didn't quite stick to my points but had a very close go at it, went over by only 1/2 so that was okay and this morning when I got on the scales I had lost 2lb so has kind of inspired me, well I thought it had until earlier I was thinking of having another extra WW bar another 1.5 points, so I have been chewing and chewing gum since 4pm trying not to give in to my cravings for more food.... I just feel the need to eat and eat until I am really full, only then do I feel content and then I feel rotten coz I have eaten so much.... am struggling but am doing the best I can, may be slightly over on points again today, but much better than what I have been eating...
Lets keep going Liz.....

keep that momentum going hun!
you know you dont need that bar, its your brain being mean to you and testing you!
Have a tomato, or a pint of water!
Anything other than the WW bar!

I find that the more sugar i eat, the more i crave it! If i cut sweets and chocolate out completely, the first day or 2 are HORRIBLE, but then after that its a lot easier!

dont you DARE be giving up hun!!!!
Your holiday may not be a motivation for you to lose weight, but just dont put anything on!!!!!

Come on!!!!!! We are women, hear our dieting roar!!!

Thanks Lizz, have managed to ignore the WW bar and had my dinner, a WW lasagne which was really nice and a big salad, then a Mullerlight yoghurt for dessert, the choc and cherry one, so now I feel full but still feel the urge to eat until I am bloated.... I know I dont need it but only feel satisfied once so full I am bursting, this is what I need to conquer....

you dinner sounds lush hun!

PINT OF WATER!!!!!! Dont go near anymore food!

Get a book, run a bath and get yourself up to bed hun for an early night! You just need to get through today and tomorrow and then you will have the inner strength to stick to it!!!

just come rant on here!
xx

Okay, so went 1 point over my allowance yesterday so not too bad, TOTM is looming and I always get starving hungry and gain weight then so putting no weightloss this morning down to that.... managed to almost stay on plan yesterday coz I chewed gum nearly all day and today I am drinking pepsi max, okay so I will have no teeth left to eat soon.... ha ha. Had a Tesco Light Choices Jacket potato for lunch with salad and ham and after that instead of dessert I nearly had a massive sandwich, would have fitted in my points, but need to try and get out of the habit of eating until bursting, got the bread on the breadboard and changed my mind and had a cereal bar instead.... maybe I can do this after all...

well done hun thats a super achievement!!!!

Want a hint re bread? buy gluten free stuff....its pants and after 1 slice of cardboard, your done! lol

another tick in the box, thats 2 days down with smily faces....her is to tomorrow being another super controlled day

Hmmmm me bad!! I ordered those chilli diet pills online yesterday after reading how good they were in the newspaper the other day, I also bought the apetite supressants that go with them thinking that if I can get into the habit of eating less then that might help... the chilli diet pills are to help boost your metabolism and work even better if you are exercising, but it is just toooooo hot at the moment, dont feel like doing anything.
Anyway despite having an enigma cornetto last night I still lost 0.2lb today, so scales moving in right direction. Today we are having a full cooked breakfast, but I am going to cook it all healthily, fill plate with mushrooms and tomatoes, tonight I bought everyone a pizza from Asda, one of those yummy big ones, but I bought myself a weightwatchers one which is also yummy, so fingers crossed I can stay good today too....

:8855: I can echo that sentiment! Most gluten free bread tastes absolutely rank! I got the fruit loaf once and was gagging trying to eat it!

I also agree that if you need to feel full, Down a pint of water!

Hope you have a great weekend Xxxx

Hey Linda, how are you getting on? Was the WW pizza nice? I have the same problem with needing to feel stuffed and it seems to take me twice as long as everyone else to get there, even men much bigger than me.

Hope you're getting on okay and I second that with the water - it really helps to create a feeling of fullness.

linda hun, keep coming back to us!

We're here for you if you need us!

xxx

Have the tablets helped with the appetite at all hun? Hope you're okay xx
