Greeneyes will PERSEVERE.........

Got on scales this morning as cannot afford to go to WW this week and I have lost 5lb, so pleased with that, although a lot of it will be water weight gone as it is that time of the month, and I always lose a significant amount then..... but pleased all the same.

Diet tablets turned up today, have had one chilli one which is supposed to help you burn more calories and 2 appetite ones, you take them 30 mins before meals with water, but they dont seem to make any difference so far, dont know if you need to take them for a few days before they start working, so will keep going, even though I seem to feel hungrier after I have taken them. I have put less on my plate for the meals that I took them for, but went back for the rest as I was starving.... but haven't eaten any more than I have been, so fingers crossed the scales will keep going down. Thanks for keep visiting my thread, it really helps to know that you are all there....

YAY!!! Well done on the weight loss! Really pleased for you honey!
See, you CAN do it! We both can!!!!

Re the tablets, just be careful hun!

My hubby will cook a decent portion, have half, wait half an hour and then go back for more if he is still hungry which i think is a lot better than eating until stuffed so its a good thing!

i'll keep checking in on you though to make sure your ok!

xxx

Well done on the scales being so far down hun - waterweight or not, it will make a significant difference - so really well done :)

How long 'til next holiday now?

xx

Yay!!! Great news on the scales, that's fantastic. It does feel good when they go down. Also think it's a good idea to eat half the food, wait and then see how you feel. I should do that otherwise I'm uncontrollable!!! xxx

Weight still dropping slowly so that is good, still taking the tablets and today I feel like the appetite supressants may have worked, sometimes I still feeling starving hungry, but this afternoon I haven't even had to have a snack, so all well and good. Am trying to get out of a morning snack so have been having a CD shake instead....

Hey linda, great news on the scale drop, hope you are feeling in the zone again, you sound much more positive!
CD pack is a great low carn healthy snack too!
Have a great day
x

where are you linda hun?????

Hope everything is ok! and even if it isnt, you know where we are

xxxxx

Hi Linda,
Hope you are doing ok. Just trying to catch up. Really understand what you mean about trying to overcome that need to feel 'full' thing. Doesn't always happen, but when it does its hell. I could go from cupboard to fridge to drawer, eating anything to feel sataisfied. Not even sure if its about needing to feel full, as opposed to just needing to eat, fullstop. Been reading about this being an addictive desire, which i understand and relate to. Just making it go away is less easy....! keep up the good work. You can do it! xx

Hey Linda, hope you're getting on okay hun xxx

Guess what? I am back yet again, I really need to shift nearly 3 stone that I have put back on and realising that there is less than 10 weeks to Christmas has made me think seriously about it... I was following slimming world, but I would really like to be near to goal for Christmas so it is back to SSing on CD again.

I started yesterday, stuck to it and today has been fine, but it is usually day 5 I give up at, so have booked a second meeting this week with my CDC on Friday to help me try and get through that day, plus if I see my weightloss on Friday may stop me giving up at the weekend, she is also going to weigh me on Monday too to make sure I have kept going... I think if I get through the 2 weeks mark I will be fine.... I can either be miserable on a diet for the next 10 weeks or miserable for the rest of my life coz I am bigger than I want to be, so my Christmas Present to myself is a smaller me......

Hello GE you have a very supportive cdc this plan sounds as if you will cope better on the weekends.

hope it works for you (i could do with the same ) lol x

Yes she is very supportive, she said I can go along as many times a week as I want and be weighed and I dont have to buy anything every time either.

Have just read through your whole diary (over a couple of days) and you did so well on CD last time. You sound really determined and I think that bottom photo is great motivation- I cannot believe you are a granny! You look so young, I honestly would have thought you were in your twenties before I read this!

Good Luck with CD, let us know how you're getting on.

Well I have stuck to SS+ 100%, did struggle with my head on day 5, 6 and not so much on day 7 and have got up this morning feeling great, think maybe in ketosis at last.... weigh in today and I lost 9lb..... 9lb can you believe that, I didn't even lose that first time around when I had more to lose, so really pleased and I really need to stick to it now to lose as much as possible before Christmas, hopefully I will be way on my way to goal....

Hey Linda, said congrats on my thread, but wanted to come on here and say a big well done. That's great going!!!

Those early days are the toughest aren't they, so you must be over the moon to have got past them. It can be harder 2nd time round, but keep looking at how pretty you look on that profile pic (with all the yummy deserts lol)

Have managed nearly 12 days 100% SS+ (I am having 4 shakes and some milk) and have so far lost 10lb. I lost 9lb the first week and only 1lb this week, but it is only 4 days as I am changing my WI day, still a bit disappointed with my 1lb, but I sorted out some jeans last week that I managed to struggle into and I mean really struggle and I would have died if I had of sat down in them, and tried them on this morning and they fit comfortably, so obviously I have lost inches this week. This being the case I have got my CDC to measure me today so next time I have a bad weight loss week I can see how many inches I have lost.

Exactly, inch loss often happens when weight loss doesn't and don't forget the woosh that sometimes happens towards the end of the week.
You're doing superbly well so far and we all know how hard is. Good news on the jeans!

Hey linda,
well done on your losses so far! that's great! and fab on those jeans too.
Have a fab week!
x
