Greeneyes will PERSEVERE.........

Hey GE, sorry to hear about your hubby's job, this sucks, we went through a similar thing in 2009, both lost our jobs and hubby was out of work for 11 months after, it sucked but we got through it somehow (cut out everything that wasn't absolutely essential), you will too hunny xx

After reading back through my diary yesterday I decided to ditch the WW meals for now and freeze them and eat the way I was back then, half my allowance at lunch and half at dinner time, so for lunch today instead of a CD bar I had quarter of my allowance of prawns and quarter of my allowance of cottage cheese with a few baby leafs and half a CD choc shake hot.... (it is tipping it down and miserable here so needed to warm up). Am going to have half my quorn allowance for dinner with some mushrooms and courgette and a couple of slices of chilli and put some kind of spice into it.... yummy, still have 1 and a half shakes left for today and am feeling fine...

Beck book is great, have definately learnt something already as I felt like treating myself to something nice (but healthy) for lunch but off plan, then decided that being thin was a better treat than eating something nice..... made me laugh when I realised I was having thoughts like she said we would....

Have also cleaned the kitchen to within an inch of its life, pulled out both fridges, cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer, cleaned out fridges, on top of kitchen cupboards, under all the units and sloshed bleach everywhere..... ha ha I am bleach queen I think but at least my kitchen smells nice now, its the hall and bathrooms turn tomorrow...... good for burning of calories tho.... so yesterday didn't derail me, not sure what we are going to do, DH applied for lots of jobs last night even if he couldn't do them, but he has been applying for about a year now and nothing has come up, not even when the exact same job turned up in a different school to the one he used to work in he didn't even get an interview..... so definately dont know now what I will do once I run out of CD stuff, guess I have just over a week to decide.....

Hi Linda,

Wow -- busy lass you are. It is gloomy here in Cambridgeshire but not "tipping", yet. Again, let's hope for the best regarding DH's employment. Things are supposed to be improving on the economic front.

Good that this isn't derailing you Greeneyes, stay strong and keep looking forward... none of us know what is around the corner, but at moments like this it's worth remembering there will be good things up ahead too. Sending a Saturday hug.

Thanks Mel, I think the maybe is a definate, just not sure exactly when...... we also have a mortgage over £100,000 which I dont think the government will help much with, at least not for quite some time...... We had this problem when DH and I first got together, has taken us forever to rebuild our credit history, now it looks like it will take a nosedive again...... The citizens advice were really helpful to us before, but since then people who have been to them say they aren't very helpful, think they are just inundated with these sorts of problems nowadays... and DH has been looking for a job for about a year now but there is just nothing around, he has applied for loads but so have tons of other people.....

Linda, so sorry to read this. I do hope Mr Depp keeps his job. As part of mine I get a lot of information and if you do seek help with debt don't go to any company that makes you pay for their advice. Check out Martin Lewis on moneysavingexpert.com. The Consumer Credit Counselling Service offer free advice and I know there is another one, perhaps they can help.

Problems can derail all of us and we all have them, Katy's advice is so good about keeping the dieting area of your life under control. Big hugs. xxxxx

Hi Linda, you sound like you are feeling really strong today, which is great. Good that your kitchen has got the brunt of it today :D Food choices sound brill too. Keep your pecker up hun xxx

Got on the scales this morning and they have really dropped, 12 stone 1lb, had them really drop before though and then they go up again the next day so wont be too disappointed if they do. Was happy with my food choices yesterday....

Breakfast :- Porridge and coffee

Lunch:- Prawns, cottage cheese and a couple of baby leafs and half a shake

Mid Afternoon:- Half a shake

Dinner:- Quorn, courgette, mushroom, chilli, piri piri spices and a choc mint MAM

Evening:- Half a shake

Very nice all in all, will try something similar today

Am looking to either blitz the hall and bathroom after church today or go out geocaching, either way I hope to burn some more calories too....

So positive today all good here xx

Hi Linda,

Sounds like a very good day you had food-wise, and wonderful day you have planned for today. I hope you enjoy the sun.

Hey lovely,

I hope you`ve had a good weekend x

I hope you have a great week ahead of you Linda! I hope you enjoyed Geocaching if you did go out! We love it and often do it with the dog! :)

Can I be a dimwit and ask what geo coaching is? Guessing it has nothing to do with coaches or geology? Unless Alli has a very well-travelled or rock-obsessed dog?

As far as I`m aware, You follow clues to find stuff, But I have no idea where you find these clues? x

You can check out Geocaching - The Official Global GPS Cache Hunt Site to see what geocaching is, but basically people hide little boxes with log books and sometimes little things (like christmas cracker gift type things) and they leave the co-ordinates on the geocaching website. You put the co-ordinates into your GPS device and go search for the box and write in the log book. We have geocached in South Africa, Dublin and England and in laws live in Australia and do it there, it is a worldwide thing. We have found nearly 500 now.

Anyway struggled to eat enough food yesterday as had missed breakfast because we were late for church, we live nearest, was latest... ha ha. So thought there would be a rise on the scales today as I had eaten most of my food yesterday afternoon and evening, but was pleasantly surprised when they showed 12 stone 0.2lb, so so close to the 11s now...... will they wont they reach it by tomorrow morning, my official WI day.... Plus when I reach 11 stone 13.4lb I will have lost a whole stone too.

Yesterday food....

No breakfast.

Lunch:- half quorn portion, courgettes, mushrooms, sweet pepper with piri piri seasoning followed by 0% fat greek yoghurt with half a mint choc shake mixed in to make up for the missing milk I would normally have for breakfast.

Mid Afternoon:- half a choc shake

Dinner:- quarter prawn and cottage cheese, few babyleafs followed by half a mint choc shake MAM which actually set today.

Evening:- half a choc shake hot.... yummy.

Ten tons of black caffeine free coffee....

Will be having the same today aswell, made my porridge with water this morning so that I can have the yoghurt after my lunch...

Have a great day all xx

Hi GE --

The geo thing sounds very cool.

You are getting close to your next target -- so yeah!

Good on the food, and I am sure Beck will forgive for missing breakfast in order to get to church. It has often been my experience that the more children a family has -- the later they are to church no matter how close they live. And, a good thing about being a Christian is that you know you are forgiven. ;)

I hope today goes well for you and your family.

Wow, over the moon this morning, I WI at 11 stone 13lb..... how awesome is that, cannot believe that I am back in the 11s at last (whose betting will have a weight gain tomorrow and will be back in the 12s... lol) So 1 stone down, another 29lb to go, it seems much easier now (hope these aren't famous last words)..... so food yesterday was the same as the day before, just arranged a bit differently, was going to post each day what I eat but as I am doing 810 there really isn't that much variation to post.
