I chew gum all day EVERY day. It doesn't knock me out of ketosis and doesn't make me feel hungry. But I have heard that some people are more effected than others. Maybe give it a go for 1 week and if it does effect you in anyway, you'll know what it is and can stop having it. Hugs x x x
lol - we know! ha ha Make sure they are sugar free though, and avoid the sugar coated, and gue in the middle (ie trident soft - although they are sugar free the stuff in the middle contains citric acid) Also, on ebay they sell mint strips for 1.99 - they dissolve on the tongue and are sugar free. I only have gum when out of an evening, when you're drinking water and everyone else is drinking you need something to chew on! It also saves me having to explain, 'I'm on a diet' to everyone who offers it.
No adverse reaction, didn't kick me out of ketosis but worried like hell that it would.
