A steady 2lb loss is good though Rosegold :) ... I personally don't exercise apart from walking to work (which is 5 minutes away so not exactly a marathon lol), and I'm not going to start because I know from past experience that I won't sustain it which will make it harder for me long term.

I find that starchy carbs slow down my losses ... I know that they are technically 'free' on SW but if I have more than one (weighed) portion of them a day then I really know about it! I don't weigh anything else (apart from Hexs) but I do portion control the starches.

Thanks Molly! I'd just like the odd 3lb week every now and again - I know that's just me being greedy and I should totally be happy at 2lbs a week! I really want to become one of those people that LOVES exercising! Highly unlikely but as I'm in that frame of mind I might as well give it a go! :p

Yeah I am eating a lot of potato on this diet! I'm so relieved I can have it as a free food that I'm having them with almost every meal! I might try weighing them for a week or so to see if it makes a difference!

Thanks guys! You're totally right a loss is always a step in the right direction no matter how small - I'm completely motivated to really go for it this week! I need to see the 17 rather than 18 on the scales next week! It's so amazing that we're really sticking to this challenge! It's so rewarding to set your mind to something and to really do it!

Looking forward to our post Christmas challenge now also! What could it be?
 
I'm really looking forward to getting into the 17 zone next week too :D For me moving down from one stone zone to the next is more exciting than getting stone certificates, lol.

I lost 2.5lbs this week which I'm happy with, much better than the 1/2lb last week! Finally saw that 17!! Craving the 16 now ;)

I've just realised that you and Beverley have reached your 2 stone goal (Congrats!), are you going for 3 now? I need some of whatever you're both doing! :)

I'm in the 17 zone too as of last night (YAY!!) and like you am already craving the 16's, lol... I am going for the 3, or as close to it as I can get. I'd really, really like to get to my overall halfway point of 4 stone lost for Christmas - it's not quite the 16's but it's only 8.5lbs away and tantalizingly close!

If I can do it then it would be a fab Christmas present to myself :D If not, well I'm still closer to it than I was 12 weeks ago ;-) xx
