Hi 5stone2lose,

I feel for you, I do have terrible withdrawal when I am without my computer.:sigh:

The only way around it might be to bring it to PC world and find an external monitor that will hook up and work with your laptop. It will cost around £100.

You won't be able to use it as a portable laptop anymore obviously but at least you will have the benefit of it not being a total write off.

Hope that might be of some help.

Love Mini xxx

Hey 5st2loose, easy in hindsight but get insurance, this just shows the things which can happen accidently :( Imagine if it was something worse like a burst pipe or the likes. Most insurance companies allow you to pay in installments (granted they charge you extra for the privilage) I pay £298 a year, less than the cheapest quote you now been given.

Hope you can get something sorted xx
