having trouble eating my points

    Hi All
    I am having trouble using my points this week.
    I have had a nasty outbreak of candida and for the next several weeks can't have any fruit,wheat,root veggies or most grains. and very little dairy
    So yesterday I had
    Breakfast
    Oat bran with tablespoon of yogurt and some xylitol(one of two allowed sweeteners) one very small cup of coffee

    Lunch was am omellette with spring veg

    Dinner was breast of chicken poached with spring greens and green beans.

    plenty of water during the day and vit c, acidopholus and antifungal mouth rinses
    total for day was 13 ppts - this is not good.
    I tried to add more meat etc but really was not hungry.
    I don't tolerate fats very well but thought today I would add a bit of butter to some eggs to bump up a bit but any other suggestions would be appreciated.

    Maybe having higher point meats, like steak, or pork, or another thought is fish? I wonder if your GP surgery or local pct have a dietitian you could talk to, esp as this is not particularly short term...

    it is not fun but feeling better today a bit - have a big beef burger for tonight which is 9 ppts so that should bulk up somewhat. I am finding my way but it is not the easiest. Thanks for all your help
