I'm new to SW - just joined this week. Having trouble with my health extra A - I don't drink milk at all, and don't like cheese. Any ideas???

Calcium is an important part of a healthy diet particularly for women. There are so many cheeses and cheese spreads that you can have, there must surely be some that you like? How about philadephia, or mozzarella on a pizza/pasta, parmesan on pasta, or just dairylea spread? Milk can be used in hot chocolate, or rice pudding.

I think this is right , please comment if I have misunderstood.
250ml milk contains about 300mg calcium.
One Mullerlight contains about 175mg calcium (other FF yogurts are similar)
You need about 1000-1200mg calcium a day.

Could I add some grated cheese to my salad? I've read somewhere though that grated cheese is a syn and not a HE? I do like cheese spread on toast but I bought the low fat laughing cow one's and it says I need to eat 5 of those. I use about half of one on toast! Can I make sauces, such as packet cheese sauce with milk? Or would I by syning then??? Bit confused...

Yes, as long as you grate your own cheese that would be fine.

If you go for one of the full fat cheese spreads you would have to use less of it

And yes you can use your milk allowance however you want
